Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
My computer do not turn on though the line of blue lights are on, it does show a black screen and the light of the dvd drive keeps on flashing green.
Have you been inside the case or has it taken a good jolt. This is usually caused by a piece of hardware not seated properly in one of the slots, usually RAM. Make sure your external hardware such as batteries, DVD drive, etc is seated properly. Also if you were adjusting the brightness controlls on the screen, you may just have them dimmed to the point that you can't see the screen. There several things that could cause this problem but without knowing such things as what you were doing when the problem started or what all the computer has been through since you were on it last it's hard to troubleshoot.
