Freezer frosting over vents, refrigerator not cold enough

I while back my freezer was dripping water in the refrigerator. That is no longer happening, but now the freezer and refrigerator are not as cold as they should be. The vents in the freezer are frosting over.

I hear the fan blowing in the freezer, but I don't feel any air blowing in the refrigerator.

I have already cleaned off the vents under the refrigerator.

Woud unplugging and defrosting everything help? It probably won't be that simple, I imagine.

Possible that defrost heater damaged and not functioning. No way you should change it.Or flap is blocked with ice.Try to unplug and defrost but if the heater is damaged you will face the same in 3 or 4 days.

Greetings,
i work on this for a living 33 years..sight unseen, I'd say the evaporator is froze over. Its missed its defrost..I suggest leave freezer door open and unplug for 24 hours to melt ice..There still will be a problem and this will continue, but this gives you temporary service. You;ll need a repair-person to fix it. The evaporator frrezes over blocking airflow to fresh -food section. This in turn can cause a fresh food and freezer failure..

There is a drip coming into the refrigerator from the ceiling , but the freezer is not frosted

I suggest that you remove the bottom layer of the freezer - you'll see its just a piece of plastic to allow cold air to circulate underneath. There is a metal tray in the back of the freezer there that has a drain in it - I'll bet its frozen solid and the condensation from the defrost cycles are dripping down into the fridge part.

Hi, Is the Freezer still cold? If so either the Fan (In back of freezer-Remove rear panel) is not working or the vent between freezer and fridge is close (side panel between freezer and fridge) Check either of those should be able to pick which is not working

This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help.
Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

My refrigerator is freezing inside the cooling section also there is water dripping inside the cooling section

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp and Your evaporator coils frost up in normal use and every eight hours or so the entire unit shuts down and the defrost heater comes on to melt the frost. This cycle last about 20 minutes. The melted frost drips into a drain pan and through a drain tube to the drain tray under the freezer/refrigerator where it's evaporated by the condenser fan.
