SOURCE: rx tray full remove paper

That is an easy one.
Look into the area where the paper comes out. You have to look toward the upper rear area rear area. There is a white plastic flag, about 2 inches wide and 1 inch in height.
On each side of it you will see 2 areas where the shaft snaps into, that flag has popped out of those clips and is not seeing the sensor making the machine think there is a piece of paper in the output tray.
Reach in and gently maneuver that back into position and carefully snap it back into place.
That is an odd shaped actuator you can't see, but with some patience you can snap it back into place. Maybe also gently take a pair of needle nose pliers and slightly tighten those clips that it snaps into. I suggest that with a lot of concern so that you do not snap the plastic clips, they are part of the frame that if broken would be expensive to replace. Use your discretion as to whether they need to be tightened. If it snaps back in and feels solid DO NOT try to tighten them please.

SOURCE: xEROX 8200 PAPER JAMMING

SOund more to me like you have worn out feed wheels. They are slipping when trying to feed, therefore you get a paper jam indication, but no paper has been fed. Check the feed roller texture. If it is slick replace the roller.
I will state that first. You could have a sticking sensor, but that is less likely if you say it feeds paper.
The second most likely problem is the paper feed or paper registration clutch failing. Those are electromechanical clutches that are located on the loerf front section of the frame. You would need to remove the left side cover ( looking from the front). The clutches are round and silver, about an inch and a half thick with black gears on them. If the clutch faces are slipping, the rolllers will not drive and result in a jam.
The more I think about what your describing, the more I believe one of your clutches is bad.

Dell 966 aio printer....paper jam and I cannot release paper from roller. Is there a way to release roller?

Have you read the Manual on paper removal? It mentions a rear panel that can be removed. That might free up the rollers:
If the paper jam is near the paper input tray:
1. Remove the paper tray.
2. Pull firmly on the paper to remove it.
3. Replace the paper tray.
4. Press the Select button .
5. Resend your print job to print any missing pages.
If the paper jam is not visible:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Lift the printer unit.
3. Firmly grasp the paper, and gently pull it from the printer.
4. Close the printer unit.
5. Turn on the printer, and print the document again.
If the jam is located in the duplex unit or near the rear access door:
1. If you have a duplex unit, remove it.
2. Open the rear access door.
3. Firmly grasp the paper, and gently pull it from the printer.
4. Close the rear access door.
5. Re-install the duplex unit.
6. Press the Select button to continue printing.
If the paper jam occurs near the ADF:
1. Lift the ADF cover located to the left of the ADF input tray.
2. Firmly grasp the paper, and then gently pull it from the printer.
3. Close the ADF cover.
4. Press the Select button .
5. Resend your print job to print any missing pages.

T652n 202.03 paperjam

1Open the upper-front cover and remove the toner cartridge.2
Look into the printer. Remove any jammed sheets of paper that you find there.

  • If the print job only consisted of this one page, reinstall the toner cartridge and close the front cover. Press the pattlnk_10162008_2247-select_button.jpg button to clear the error, and then try printing again.

  • If the print job consisted of more than one page, confirm the entire paper path is clear before printing again. Do the following:

    1. Remove the top paper tray ('Tray 1').
    2. Remove any jammed or partially-fed sheets of paper you find here, then reinstall the tray.
    3. Go around to the back of the machine and open the upper-rear cover. Remove any jammed sheets of paper you find, then close the cover.
    4. Once you have confirmed that the entire paper path is clear, reinstall the toner cartridge and close the front cover.
    5. Press the pattlnk_10162008_2247-select_button.jpg button to clear the error, and then try printing again.

  • If you cannot locate any jammed paper under the toner cartridge, then check the rest of the printer for any jammed paper. Do the following:

    • Remove the top paper tray ('Tray 1') and look for any jammed or partially-fed sheets of paper.
    • If you do not find any jammed pages there, reinstall the tray and go around to the back of the machine. Open the upper-rear cover and look there.
    • If the entire paper path appears to be clear, close the rear cover and power off the printer. Reinstall the toner cartridge and close the front cover. Power the printer back on. If a 200 error continues on power up, a sensor in the printer may be malfunctioning. This will require a service call to correct the issue. I have a paper jam with a samsung CLX 3175FN. Can't get the stuck paper out! Turning on and off didn't work.

If the paper is jammed inside the machine follow these steps:
1. Open the front cover and pull the toner cartridge out, lightly pushing it down.
2. Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight out.
3. After removing the jammed paper, make sure there is no additional paper in the paper path.
4. Insert the toner cartridge and close the front cover.

If the paper is jammed in exit are follow these steps:
1. Open and close the front cover. The jammed paper is automatically ejected from the machine.
2. Gently pull the paper out of the output tray.
- If you do not see the jammed paper or if there is any resistance when you pull, stop and go to the next step.
3. Open the rear cover.
4. Carefully remove the paper by pulling in the direction.
- If the paper tears, make sure that all of the paper fragments are removed from the printer.
5. Close the rear cover. Printing automatically resumes.

Paper jam and still won't print

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Before you can clear the error message, you must locate where in the unit the paper is jammed.

Unplug the machine for safety. Now follow these instructions based on where the paper jam is located.

1. Pull the paper tray out of the machine.
2. Pull out the jammed paper.
3. Reset the machine by opening the Upper Jam Clear Cover and then closing it.

If you cannot remove the jammed paper from the front of the machine, or the error message still appears on the LCD after you have removed the jammed paper, please go to the next step.

4. Remove the Lower Jam Clear Cover from the back of the machine. Pull the jammed paper out of the machine.

5. Put the Lower Jam Clear Cover back on. Make sure the cover is set properly.

6. Open the Upper Jam Clear Cover. Make sure that there is no jammed paper left in the corners of the machine.
Note: If the paper is jammed under the print head, unplug the machine from the power source, then move the print head to take out the paper. 7. Close the Upper Jam Clear Cover.

8. Close the output paper tray cover and slide it forward, then push the paper tray firmly back into the machine. While holding the paper tray in place, pull out the paper support until it clicks and unfold the paper support flap.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
