Question about HP Photosmart M525 Digital Camera
The problem: The camera turns on, but the only actions allowed are to peruse the menus and format the media. It will not take pictures and the lens will not extend.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
1. Brand new, fully charged batteries
2. Format SD card
3. Re-install firmware (v. 1.44)
4. Squeeze firmly together (thought it might be a loose connector inside)
Nothing seems to work. I am here as a last resort before I call it quits and just open the bad boy up for a potential learning experience. Thanks for any assistance.
