Anodized coating in Panasonic Rice cooker cooking Bowl is of very bad quality. The coating comes off within a few months and the inner portion of Cooking bowl starts blackening making it unfit for use.


If it is still in warranty, contact Panasonic. You may be able to take it back to the store where you bought it, but that is a long shot.

How to clean cast iron both pots and pans


Don't..... just rinse with hot water and dry them, the blackening is otherwise known as "seasoning" and protects it from rusting, left to soak or washing with soapy water will rust the cast iron...... if this happens you need to remove as much rust as possible by scrubbing with salt and a cut (half) potato, then wiping with vegetable oil and "seasoning" in a hot oven (do this a few times, the oil will evaporate and bake-on a protective film) think of the edges of your favourite roasting pan....... well used/cared for cast iron will almost certainly look totally black.

Traeger grill get to hot on smoke


If you're cooking when it's hot outside, it's hard to maintain low temperatures. In the heat of summer, I have to tend my grill continually opening and closing the lid to keep the temperature down to my cooking temp of 180. That, of course, lets the smoke escape. If it gets too hot when the temperatures are moderate, i.e. 60s and 70s, the augur may be dumping too many pellets into the fire pot and need realigning. How to use the slow cooker on the oval cooks essential pressure cooker


I have a Tricity TSC09 6 litre Slow Cooker and I just love it its so handy, if your gone for even 10 hours it keeps your dinner warm after the cooking time runs out. I smashed the lid and was so gutted I tried for hours online to find a replacement lid with no luck. I went shopping and bought a very cheap 6 to 7 Quart or 6 to 6.5 litre Slow cooker / Crock pot of the same shape the removable pot and lid fit. I bought a cookworks, signature, 24 euro 6.5 litre oval dog standard slow cooker and the lid fit, now I also have a removable pot replacement as well just in case I smash that too. So happy I have my Slow cooker back again.

If I'm smoking peppers why would I use the water tray in the smoker?


the water keeps the peppers moist with out the water thay would dry out the choking down or opening the door is up to you with the door open the faster they will tend to cook more air equals more flame wich equals more heat . door closed less heat more smokey flavor and takes longer to cook

Yep! have a qualified repairman do the adjustments. You do not want to go Boom!! This problem is caused by improper air to fuel mixture. The orange flame and blackened pots are prime indicators.

Burners black paint is coming off, pots seem to slide when cooking


The black paint burning off the grates is normal. It happens after a while. The pots seemingly sliding could be an indication the stove is not level.

To better address the problem with your nonstick pot... I need more information on the steps you have used to clean the pot and the extent of damage to the pot itself.

You indicated that the damage has occured between the pot and the inner surface of the cooker base? Is this a corrosive damage or a build up of material on the inner liner of the base?

Often times a build up of 'hard water' minerals accumulates on the inner surface due to condensation and occasional overflows from the foods being cooked. They can appear to be a type of fungus or mold.
