My Console did this after the we had a power surge, it stayed off for about an hour, I then unplugged it and replugged it in and it booted right up.

If it refuses to turn on after a short amount of time, call Nintendo. There is a one Year Warranty on New Consoles. If you bought it over a year ago, then there may be a fee. Nintendo will have you send it to them (They Will send a label). They will either fix yours, or send a new one.

Good Luck!

Wii remote dosent work all lights flash but no signal to cosole atteries ok

Sounds like the console and wiimote are not synced.
1. Take the battery cover off of the wiimote, and open the small cover on the front of the console.
2. Press the red button under the cover and on the back of the wiimote.

In my experience this can take a few tries so be patient.

Wii will not power on

The light on our Wii would not turn ON, and would not power up. No red, no yellow, nothing.

To fix, we unplug the Wii console. We turn the WIi console so that the back-side fan area is pointing towards the ceiling and then vacuum the fan area. Then we place it back into the Wii stand, plug it in, and the red light comes on. It powers up and works perfectly again. Obviously this won't solve everyone's issues (i.e. electronic component failures), but it has worked several times for us. Definitely worth a shot before shipping your unit off for repair.

I think the fan gets clogged and WIi protects itself from overheating, but do not really know why this works... but it does!

I think my wii fan isnt working

Either your fan has come unplugged from the motherboard, or your fan just died. If your under warranty, send it in. Always take advantage of the warranty. If not, try checking your local game stores to see if they do console repairs.
