Tring to find out which color wire is for the ignition switch so i canhook up my stereo

You will want two of them, one is constant power, and can come from the battery if needed, and the other will be accessory power. It'll be the one that only gets power when your key is in and not in the "lock" position. You can actually hook both the stereo's wires to the constant power, but then you'll need to shut the stereo off manually, it won't go on and off with the car.

My aftermarket cd deck won't turn on in my Honda Civic. The Stereo is a Sony Xplod CDXGT700HD. I checked the fuse and replaced it for the hell of it. I tried using the reset button. I saudered all

You might want to check all of the fuses in the car. There should be a fuse box in the engine compartment and another under the dash somewhere.

Po135 on 2003 silverado O2 sensors replaced need to clear trouble code, how do I do this?

You can try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes. This may turn off the light but it may not clear the codes. Not to mention if you have automatic climate control you may have to reset that after reconnecting the battery. The best thing to do is get your self a code reader for about $50. You'll be able to read and clear codes until your heart is content. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

Our engine light came on after we put in a fuse and we cant get it to go off, have tryed turning on and off the key to reset it but it doesnt work have even unhooked the battery. what can we do?

If its an OBDII code than you will need a code reader to clear it. If it is a manufacturer specific code you will need a high end scan tool to clear it. If there is a problem and it is current it won't matter if you clear the code the check engine light will come right back on. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Cd jammed won,t eject

Hi.

Try pressing repeatedly the eject button on the on dash player while turning on the stereo at the same time. If that does not work disconnect battery terminal for one minute to reset the electrics and try again pressing eject repeatedly on startup. Make sure that you have the stereo anti theft code if needed before disconnecting the battery.

If that does not work, then the unit must be disassembled. The car stereo must be removed from the dash. The unit must be disassembled removing screws at back and bottom and undoing metal casing clips. That will reveal the CD drive allowing to remove the disk.

Regards.

Went down now 4 way flashers come on when either signal is applied

I don't know much about the newer model bikes as I work on the old stuff that the dealers won't mess with anymore. Try this. Press and hold both turn signal switches for a few seconds and let go. That's supposed to turn the 4-way flashers on and off. Maybe it'll "reset" them as well. If not, drop me a note at [email protected] and I'll send you everything I have about turn signal units and how to troubleshoot them. Don't forget to tell me what you want.

How to reset the airbag light? I recently fixed my steering wheel with an airbag in it and the airbag light won't turn off.

always use care when dealing with an air bag,, remove the neg battery terminal,, then the positive, wait 10 minutes for the system to reset , the trick here is hooking it back up, before you do that ,, check all the connections again , make sure they are all tight and aligned,, if so,, Hook up the Positive cable first ,, then the neg one , the light should have cleared, if by chance it doesn't,, your going to have to go to someplace with a OBD code checker,, Lots of places do this for free, so shop around,, and have them clear the code, if it shows up after that , something in the system is wrong, and you'll need to check that before proceeding

The DAB on my CR-515 has stopped working and says 'no stations'. What's hapened?

Just had the same problem. Had a power cut in the area and it's wiped everything on my CR515. You need to reset it to the factory defaults.

On the actual stereo (not remote), switch it on, then hold the stop button followed by the on/off button. Clear will appear on the screen and it'll then turn itself off, When you turn it back on, it'll ask you to wait. Your DAB should be restored.

Bear in mind, this will reset all your presets and any other preferences you have set on your system. It should also, however, restore your DAB.
