Hi

You will have to format the phone. I had similar problems. Do a hard reset.
Make sure you have your contacts stored at some place. You can save them on your computer.

Himank

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is the song in your memory card? If it is, change the place to phone memory. If this doesnt work try re-downloading it to your phone. Again INTERNAL phone memory

My windows media player could not open. No ringtones. It said the files corrupted.

There is nothing you can do.Corrupted files are natures way of saying that you are screwed. These files are a easy virus gateway. They sit, take up hard drive space, and have no protection.WMP should boot right on back up once you have deleted these files.Sorry for your files and hope it helped.

Cant set mp3's as ringtones

Try formating the phone and putting the music back on the phone. It could be posible that your files got corrupted while transfering them over. Also check if the copy protect is off and that might corrupt the file making not able to play when you set them as your ringtone. Also are the mp3s playable in your media center? Let me know if this helps.

Samsung i780 Ringtones corrupted

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem and also noticed that Windows Media Player was not starting on my Samsung i780. I Googled a bit and found the reason. Media player is somehow using the Application Data/Volatile folder. When I looked to that folder via File Explorer I saw about 300 folders. deleted them all and after a soft reset all problems gone. Hope this helps.

Unable to transfer ringtones

No help needed...after taking it to a tech center - and they said it was a phone issue which couldn't be fixed ( guess they were new hires from flipping burgers? ) I simply did a master clear...phone works fine and I can upload & store my ringtones w/o any issues.

When a ringtone is bluetoothed to me, it shows file is corrupt

you need to do a master clear on your phone ... you would loose ur pictures and any downloaded stuff, but your wouldn't get that file corrupt error again. Somehow your software probably got a glitch.Try the master clear or the master reset in settings and hopefully as i said this would clear the problem. You can then go ahead and try to bluetooth any files your want to. Sam !
