Why does my asus monitor always read "no signal".

nah that happens with me sometimes..
have you connect the cable properly?
if that still can't make it works, first turn on your PC and monitor..
then plug off the cable that power them, so that your computer and monitor will suddenly off..
plug it on again, then your monitor will work again..
that works on mine cause my CPU is too old and had a power problem..

My computer is not starting.

One of 2 thiungs may be happening. Either you HARD DRIVE has developed bad sectors and may SOON totally pack up.... Or the processor is overheating. BUT MOST LIKELY the HARD DRIVE is the cause. Get your DATA opnto a safe drive as soon as possible and there after you must do a FULL HARD DRIVE SCAN and seecwhet the report tells u afterwards. Obviously when it reports REAPIRS HAD TO BE DONE or bad sectors were found ...YOU MUST REPLACE THE DRIVE... Let me know what you find... I can the guide you further

It seems to me that your motherboard may be on it's way out. Those seem like some of the signs when the MB is in it's death throes.
Or make sure your system isn't dusty or in a moist area. Could be your power supply isn't high enough.
I'm going with motherboard though.

Cannot get new ati radeon 4350 graphics card to work on my asus motherboard

A couple of suggestions, in case you over looked them.

1) Get into BIOS and make sure the on board is disabled there. I've have trouble before when I missed it.
2) If the old one is showing on your Device Manager, Disable it but dont uninstall it. Then remove any drivers for it.

Installation of Fedora core 6 on Amd+ASUS

Your computer is booting up in a video mode or refresh rate that your monitor cannot support. Not sure how you would go about changing it without reinstalling Fedora or doing it from the command line.

If you're using an LCD, try an old CRT monitor, may be able to use the mode you selected. LCDs can usually only support 60Hz modes.
