Need to sort a few things out on the setup we have,

At the moment there are 3 phones on the incomming call, it will ring on the first for 13 rings then move onto the next, then the next and back to the first

how was this setup and can i add more lines and change it to 10 rings before it moves on? i would like to have it move straight on to the next phone if the first is engaged.

There are ppl that can pick up and they do with the feature 76 but they arnt hearing the main 3 phones ring from the other side of the office, ive turned the volume up on those which will help for now.

Is it also possible to program in the feature76 then the number for the main phone so whoever has to pickup from another phone can just hit 1 button?

Thanks for any help

- Hi Carl,

Thanks for your response,

ok very sorry ive misunderstood how its set up at the moment

this was how it used to be setup
the phone would ring from the main 1, if she was already on the phone it would ring for 13 rings then move onto the second extension, if noone answered by then (and if they havnet hung up) it moved onto the 3rd extension then back to the first.

The way its setup now it only rings from the main phone and if shes on the phone it will ring for 13 rings then go to an answer phone where im not sure what options they get. Every time i try to test it someone picks up the phone or someone rings in lol.

From another phone when a call is comming in feature 75 then 0 just rings the reception where feature 76 then 0 answers the call

For now, is it possibly where ppl that hear the phone and answer press feature 76 then 0, can that be programmed to 1 key.

How would i extend the rings for the main phone and if these answer messages lead to nowhere can i remove them.

thanks for the help and i appolagise for getting the question wrong in the first place

How many people sit around for 39 rings???

Are you saying that LINE 1 rings the first extension, say 21 for 13 rings, then the second ext, say 22 for 13 rings, or does line 1's ring move to line 2?

System programming is your friend. You can make the other phones ring directly or delayed.

Last, what happens when you dial FEATURE 75? If the phones are in the same GROUP, and they would have no reason not to, it picks up the call immediately. FEAT *3 button FEAT 75 programs a spare button to do it.

- Feature 75 has no argument, it's the Group call pickup feature. If it doesn't work, then you needed to put the phones into the same pickup group. You can program any button that is not a line or intercom with the command Feature *3 button Feature 760.

Thirteen rings is absolutely stupid. So is ringing only one phone. Programming is not something that's shared in an open forum. Features are easy, but programming of line appearance and ring requires system access which, if used by the wrong people could disable a system.

You might want to spend an hour with a system manual and see if you can't figure out how to change line ringing for your system.
