There is no way to replace a print head for no cost. The print head needs to be bought at the very least. As for having someone else do it, it can be cheaper to just replace the printer.

A new print head would not be cost effective. For the price of a printhead you could replace your printer.

HP 6940 won't print black-new cartridge installed-prints color but no black

In all likelihood your print head has become clogged at the black ink outlet. Be aware that printheads can BURN OUT if you keep trying to print and there's insufficient ink reaching the printhead. The ink flow is relied upon to prevent overheating of the tiny resistors at the printhead. Best bet is to remove the cartridges from the printhead and then remove the printhead and try to clean it in warm water. You will find many youtube videos on suggestions for cleaning the printheads on HP printers. Do a google search for your model. If all else fails you can order replacement printheads for the part that has failed. They are not cheap so price compare. Oftentimes they will cost nearly as much as a new printer!

I have deep cleaned my MP190 twice as per instructions and still I get horizontal lines in my printing.

The printhead has a few blocked nozzels. If deep cleaning does not clear the blocked nozzels then the printhead needs to be changed.
A new printhead is an expensive item and costs nearly as much as a new printer. I suggest you put your money towards a new and better printer that may be a more cost effective solution.

We want to buy hp designjet 110 plus printer head were 2 buy and what its actual price?

I suggest you use Google to search for this model printhead on the Internet to get a price comparison from various suppliers.
You may find inkjet printheads expensive and it may be better to get a new and better printer for not much more than the cost fo a new printhead.

Without realizing my mistake, I erroneously installed #3e Y-M-C ink cartridges instead of the correct #6 cartridges in my MP780. It worked fine for several days, then I got a message saying the printhead...

The fact is when you compare the cost to get a new printer to replacing your printhead and cartridges you find you may want to go for a new printer instead. The difference usually is not be worth it.

Good luck & God bless!

No colour

Hi!

Mostly it's a problem with the printhead in those case.
Try 4-5 printhead cleaning via the main menu of your printer. Press Menu. Choose 'Clean Printhead', press OK and chose the 'Intensive Cleaning' and press then OK again.
After doing this 4-5 times make a test print. When the problem persists, you can order a new PH from Kodak directly.

It sounds like you have a bad contact between the printhead and the printer. First remove the inktanks. then remove the printhead. Now re-insert the printhead and remove it - do this a few times. What this is doing is scraping off anything that is blocking the full contact between the printhead and the printer. It should only need to be re-inserted like 3-5 times. Then leave the printhead in and install the inktanks and print again. If this does not work call Kodak and request a replacement printhead (they should not charge you its not your fault this is happening) or return the unit to where you purchaced it and ask for a new one. Once you get rid of the problem you will like the printer they do print great quality photos for such a low cost ink.
