I believe that response time is built in and cannot be adjusted. Use the drivers on the CD that came with it. The manual describes your optimization options, and is available at... https://duckduckgo.com/l/?kh=-1&uddg=http%3A%2F%2Fcdn.cnetcontent.com%2F21%2F90%2F21905820-6146-48a6-ba74-5df631b630f4.pdf

My monitor shows blue colour...how to reset that?

This product is supposed to have adjustable low blue light levels. And here is quote to ponder: Also, With the help of its six proprietary calibration techniques, Sensei 3 delivers only the best viewing quality in each of its pre-set viewing modes -Standard, Movie, Game, Photo, sRGB, Reading, M-book and Eco. So, you have these 8 viewing modes as well as 6 calibration techniques. I guess you choose your pre-set and then tweak away once you find your way into the calibration settings.

Here is a user manual for the monitor: http://www.benq.com.au/support/downloads/download.cfm?file=lcdmonitor/manual/gl2040m/lcd%20monitor_um_user%20manual_20100903_143905gl40_41(a)m_en.pdf

You have to dig into the calibration settings and I wrecklessly assume the user manual will point the way to those settings.

Hi!! I have a Westinghouse L1916HW 19" DVI LCD 2ms

One possibility is that it may have dying power supply which may be putting out unstable DC which can cause a lot of strange symptoms.
See pictures here: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/Westinghouse%20L1916HW/?action=view&current=DSC00244.jpg

Bad caps are real common problems in all brands of the monitors as you can see in my albums.
Westinghouse monitors are cheaply made to start with.

I'm trying to set up BenQ FP71G+ as a second monitor connecting to Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT. I cannot get the BenQ to display even if it is the only monitor connected. However, I can see the BenQ in...

I have had problems occasionally with connecting a second monitor, too. Hook up both monitors. In the Windows control panel, look up display (or right click on your desktop and select display). Is the second monitor shown? If not, click "detect" and see if it shows up. I have had a couple times where I clicked on the monitor icon in "display" and then clicked "enable this monitor" and it started working. If not, then try switching the cords so your working monitor is the second one. try again and see if it show up. If not, the problem is probably with the video card or video card driver. Try and update the driver for your card.https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-8800-gt
If this does not work, the issue is probably the card.

I get the message Auto Adjust when i open the computer

This is a normal thing if you have it enabled in the monitors setup. Like your computer there is a little cpu in the monitor and this does checks and makes adjustments. You can setup the monitor to more closely match your video card but unless the message really drives you crazy seeing it all the time it's not really worth doing.

The Benq 17's have great displays. I'm using one as I type this.

1. Enter "setup" mode or "click" to go "down" one menu-level.
2. Go "up" one menu-level.
3. Up one line inside a menu.
4. Down one line inside a menu.
5. "Exit" from "setup" mode.

Maybe, in a different order!
