I have not seen a complete point by point instruction for Dewalt, however the kit # 610773-01 has a sheet with all the part labeled and is fairly easy if you have worked on other nailers. If you have not taken apart a nailer, then search youtube for nail gun videos to get an idea as to what you are getting into. I have rebuilt hundreds of nailers and find that the Dewalt nailers are about a 4 - 5 in complexity. I find that dewalt nailers are faulted with vinyl orings (clear to yellow in color) that fail due to oil/water and heat. Most nailers use black viton orings that lasts much longer. May I suggest posting again with the specific problem that you are having with your gun. Good holidays

The contact trip on some of the nailers may not operate properly, which may permit a nail to be ejected with only trigger actuation.
Only nailers with the following date codes are affected:
200203, 200204, 200217, 200302, 200304, 200308, 200315, 200325, 200329, 200343, 200403, 200404, 200406, 200407, 200412, 200413, 200415, 200416, 200417
