Any way to get a threader and rethread them to take a larger screw ? You can buy them at a decent hardware store. If it's broken already, a $4 item is worth a try.

What adapter do i need to make a vivitar 52MM wide angle lens work with a Nikon D-3000 with a 18-135MM lens?

If you can fit a filter to the front of your lens, you could buy a wide angle adapter like a 0.5, with the screw size that fits your filter screw.
But the wide angle front lenses, were designed for compact camera's and video camera's And although the 18 mm could become like 12 mm, but you will introduce colour fringing, distortion and more , that can't be corrected in normal programs like Lightroom.
I used a wide angle 0,5x (52mm) Hama and a tele 1,5x from cannon, on my video and later on my canon powershot G9, to find I was looking for a DSLR. I never was quiet pleased with the results.

And yes, sometimes you can't go farther back, but then I shoot 2 or 3 pictures.
Now I use a 12 - 24 on my Nikon DSLR. Now I get the pictures I want in a quality that fits.
My 0,5 and 1,5 are somewhere in a box. I payed the same (new) for both as for my Sigma 12-24. With the sigma I do have fun.

Screw it on to the front of your camera's taking lens, if your camera lens is not threaded check in you manual for an adapter for threaded accessories.

Insert sd card camcorderst recognize any micro sdcard

If your SP1 camera cannot recognize the micro SD card, please be sure you are using a card between 4GB to 32GB, class 10 speed. If possible, please try another micro SD card to be sure that the card that is not recognized is not defective. If you are using a card with correct specifications and it is not recognized, then the micro SD card port on your camera may be defective. Please contact Intova directly via email: fatema@intova.net or call us at 808-837-0074 for customer service/warranty coverage. Thanks.

Manual for PHD-67W wide angle lens with macro

There doesn't seem to be one.
You just screw the adapter onto the front of any lens with a 67mm filter thread and it will expand the field of view.

My intova sp1 won't turn on.why?

Please try to reset camera by inserting and pushing the end of a paper clip into the reset hole located on the camera back next to the Micro SD card port. Please also try to recharge the Li-ion battery by connecting he camera to a computer via the supplied USB cable. If either solutions don't work, then please contact Intova directly by either calling 808-837-0074 or email kevin@intova.net

Need to replace lens

Hi!
The DVC7 has a 43mm filter thread on its lens. Depending on your Bower's thread size, you may need a step-up or step-down adapter ring to fit it to the DVC.
After checking if you have your sizes correct, you need to remove the DVC7's lens hood. After that, it's just a matter of screwing the wide angle lens to the DVC's lens.
Hope this helps!

Conversion lenses & filters

These screw on the front of the plastic lens adapter and adjust the focal length. On the side of the adapter lenses it will quote the ratio. My wide angle says 0.66x so just multiply the range of focal lengths by this figure and you will see that it adjusts the camera zoom accordingly - making the image wider and probably also increasing the depth of field (what is in focus). Similarly a 1.5 tele will inrease the range of focal lengths to make the lens "longer" eg higher magnification , useful for astro photography - shots of the moon and terrestrial long distance work but detracting from the depth of field, eg the range of distance over which objects are in focus will be reduced.

The wide angle will allow you to come in close and get WIDE objects fully in-frame- hence "wide angle", while the telephoto will give you better overall maginification of the image but will probably increase the MINIMUM focal length - eg you may not be able to focus on objects closer than >2m (instead of ~1).

The screw-on adapter lenses I found were cheap in a Jessops sale use a 52mm thread, while the S5500 provides a 55mm internal thread. I use an appropriate 55mm to 52mm step down ring adapter. There is slight vignetting (shading around the edge of an image) at certain combinations of zoom, but generally these are very useful accessories.

As these are adapter lenses on the front of an already powerful 10x zoom that must be optically compromised at the price of this camera, there maybe some colour fringeing around bright images. If you want a better solution you really need to get a DSLR. Overall a good solution for the price.

Hp945lens

Hi Do you use a lens tube? You need one of these so the lens does not hit the screw on lens when it extends. Quite cheap on ebay etc. Standard 55mm thread.

Hope this helps

Fitting a different lens

This camera doesn't allow interchangeable lenses. Any "wide angle lens" would screw onto the front of the existing (non-removable) lens as an additional lens element.
