I lost the serial cable for an older model skycaddie sg2. Skycaddie does not stock them anymore, and I cannot find one anywhere. Where can I find one?

RE: iowagolfer, the serial cable you are recommending is actually a serial to USB adaptor for the Skycaddie of which you need the original serial cable for so this is not the replacement serial cable as you mentioned.

    where can I purchase a serial cable for my older model SKYCADDIE SG2-serial? the serial cable that skygolf is selling is not the replacement cable it is a adaptor cable to adapt your existing serial cable to a USB type data transfer cable, you still need the original serial cable, which I don't have, that plugs into the serial female end of the adaptor cable which then converts to a USB cable. I don't need that adaptor cable, I need to original serial type data transfer cable. Can anyone help?

My son gave me his Sky Caddie SG2. I have the cables and the disc. It worked for about 5 rounds this year and now will not work. ???

I had the same problem. I bought a 2.5mm (3/32") stereo submini plug, a 9 position d-sub connector, and a d-sub connector hood. This link shows the correct wiring:

Unit taking long time to establish satellite connection?
5-7 mins is not unusual in many cases. Battery condition has a lot to do with the time it takes to establish connection. Recharge or replkace batteries with better quality ones and keep well charged up if you use rechargeable ones
