SOURCE: air compressor leaking

The problem that you are having is caused by the in tank check valve not holding the tank pressure. Simple test is to carefully loosen air-hose that feeds air to tank and check for air leaking. Replace check valve if leaking. Generic parts may be used. Enjoy

SOURCE: Kenmore 80 series leaking

well you can try filling the outer tub separately.with what you mentioned, the problem is certainly not with the drain hose or the pump. fill the tub separately with some water and if the leak is seen then the problem is certainly with the outer tub corrosion or crack on it.

SOURCE: Power steering pump still leaks after putting new one in.

the bubbles are just air in the system, it will eventualy go away. are you sure the leak is from the pump or is it just comming out the cap because of the air. also did you chk. the pressure line? that maybe where your leak is. unless you got a crack in the resavor, its most likely the pressure line. there is a pressure line and a return line.

SOURCE: Kenmore 90 series washer is leaking water from the pump. How do I remove the pump to repair or replace? Thanks!

Hi, You can change the pump by disconnecting power, water fill hoses, & take drain hose out od drain. Lay the washer on its back (use some padding under machine so that you do not damage threads on inlet valve. The pump is located on motor and has two clamps holding it. Just remove those clamps and the two drain hoses from the pump. The pump should release from the motor shaft. If the motor shaft is rusty, the pump might not want to come off ease and the shaft will need to be cleaned with sand paper or emery cloth so the new pump will go on easy. Failure to get the pump on all the way will cause the new pump to leak also.
Put your hoses back on the pump and everything should be ok.

I hope this helps you some.

SOURCE: I also have a FIMCO 15 gallon 12 v spot sprayer, won't prime

I use an emulsifier with Round-up to make it stick better to the weeds (Sticky Spreader). The emulsifier had made the solution less viscous and was not moving through the wire mesh filter that comes out of the bottom of the tank. I removed the filter and it works fine. I have a filter in the handle anyway so there is no need for two filters for my application.

I fill it up and it takes two or three days to leak out.I have tried stop leak and dye, check all the hose connect with water in a spray bottle. Is there a other test i can do.

If this is a water leak check water pump diaphram (the hole in the bottom of pump) if you see water around this area replace water pump. Also check water pump gaskets for leak.Or have it pressure tested.

The cap on my fuel filter was taken off and the parts don't seem to be back in the right way. It's an '82 golwing gl1100. Can anyone tell me the right position of the internal parts (over the diaphram)....

The fuel filter is located under the carburetor and is mounted to the front of the fuel tank about 6 inches from the fuel petcock. If some one has installed an aftermarket fuel filter on your goldwing you should consider putting the original filter back on. It is of excellent quality and should do a much better job of filtering the fuel than a rebuildable/cleanable style filter (they are prone to leaking).
If you are talking about the fuel pump on the rear of the right cylinder head it is only sold as an assembly (no parts are available separately). If the diaphragm is being pushed up by the arm try rotating the motor to lower the pump arm and see if it allows you to put the cover back on correctly.

Old craftsman model 358352151 with 145 blade - starts with fuel added to carb but will not continue to run - new fuel line, fuel filter and gaskets - ?? why - is carb ?

if you have good compression and spark and spark at the right time and mufler and ex port are clear and you have rebuilt the carb correctly and fuel lines are not pinched anywhere

check you have put the pump diaphram on 1st then the gasket and cover, and made sure the inlet screen is clear

check you have set the meter lever flush with chamber floor and have fitted spring under the lever correctly
and fitted the gasket then then metering diaphram and the cover

lo and hi screws should be set to 1 1/4 turns out from lightly seated as a base setting

check the manifold gasket and carb gasket for a air leak or a crack in insulator block

then check for a air leak at base joint or crankcase seals

2 strokes crankcases need to be air / vacuum tight in order to draw in and pump mixture let alone operate carb diaphrams

always remember F A C T S

F = fuel A =air C = compression T = timming S = spark

then primary compression ( ie air tight cases)
have a recheck and let me know what you find

scrub up the check valve within the pump really well, that should help restore the prime! use dish soap and a toothbrush!

maybe the float in the carburator or timing also check for fuel leak because you have a pump that sucks gas to the motor if any leak it would **** air to carb
