I try to video chat through gtalk. My RAY T65 have the facility of Web Cam, so I just connect my mobile with my desktop as a WebCam. In mobile it is shown as working as webcam, but from my desktop I can't get any kind of output. No Image or any thing is coming to my desktop.
Had the same problem. use a software called many cam 2.4 ; not sure bout g video but works on skype and yahoo chat. tip: dont make this program run on startup. mobile needs to be put in webcam mode as you plug in the usb. make sure you switch it to that mode before u run the software. otherwise the software doesnt pick up the video source

Hey Kara, your webcam should turn on by itself when a program requires it. For example, when you turn on Skype or Gmail video chat and connect video chat with someone the webcam turns on by it self. Some laptops already have a webcam program installed in the computer already. You can try to search for it using the windows search. I hope this helps. Give me a feedback if it does not. Good luck. - Joe
normally you need a web cam and a program that uses a web cam. most chat programs like gtalk or skype use them. just sign in attach the web cam and make sure its installed and then allow the program to detect the webcam.
When ever a laptop comes with an inbuilt webcam , a default application will be provided by the manufacturer to access the cam.Search for the same and use it. You can also access the cam through control panel. One simple way is to use a IM application like Yahoo messenger or Gtalk which support video chat , it opens up the cam automatically once you start a video chat

Well, it's very easy for you to use a web camera. First you have to
decide how do you want to use it.. means you can use it for video
chatting through Paltalk, Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, Skype etc.
For video chat you will need to install it in your PC.
To install first connect the web cam with PC. Insert the installation
CD in CD/DVD-ROM, run Setup.exe and install it. Once setup is
successfully completed you may need to restart the PC.
Now open and sign in your chat client (MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger,
Gtalk messenger, AOL etc.) For example: If you want to start share your
web cam in Yahoo messenger, just Login with your ID and password....click on Messenger choose option My Webcam. One warning message will appear...click OK....your webcam will start....Now if you want to invite someone to view your webcam, simply click on his/her ID and open IM window....click on Actions, choose More Actions from down of the list....and click on Invite to view my webcam....if he/she accepts your invitation...he/she will able to see you....again if you want to see someone who having Webcam....open the IM window by clicking his/her ID.... follow option Actions > More Actions and click on View webcam....yahoo will send the request to him/her...if he/she accept your request....you will able to see him/her....
For MSN messenger....sign in to your messenger and click on Actions and from list choose option Video and click on Show my webcam to view your webcam to others from your contact list.....or click on Start a video call to start video chat.....
To see others webcam click on View a contact's webcam....if the person accept your webcam....you will able to see his/her webcam....
Same to other chat client too...just little different in options....
I think you can get it easily...
