loma it is possible your memory card has a security code but once it was sincronized by your device before updating firmware that why it was not asking for password, but once you update, for your memory card it look like new device so he is asking password, if you don't have password you have to format memory card but there you will lose all data.and your memory card will work normally.
What you need to do first is update your phone using nokia software updater so everything in your phone will be new then after updating put the memory card in it will ask for password ignore it then go to memory to format it after formating,u can see there is a set password set is to 12345,after setting there will be a new password then after thats done remove the password with 12345 then everything will be done. THANK YOU
most likely a software problem. Go to the NOKIA web site and download the NOKIA Software Updater and update your software, go ahead with it even if it is the same version and don't worry about your warranty as it is a NOKIA update the warranty wont be affected.
BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR DATA 1ST, EITHER USING THE NOKIA PC SUITE OR GOING INTO TOOLS, FIND MEMORY>PRESS OPTIONS>BACK UP PHONE MEMORY
*********************** After update is done you can restore from PC Suite or card to put everything back to the way it was without the problem.
Hey bro, im sorry to inform you that there is no way to recover your memory card without losing your data. But if you are fine with losing your data, then try this out.
Put your microSD in a nokia E-Series phone. I'll suggest the E-65. Now, go to the memory card in the TOOLS folder and select options, and choose FORMAT MEMORY CARD. It will ask you for your confirmation, press yes if you want to, and it will format your card and remove the password. I hope this works for you. Cheers ! I've tried it out. It does not ask you to put in the old password before formatting. It worked for me !
Try formatting your phone. Turn it off. Then hold the following keys
WHILE it's turning back on: (3 + * + green call key). Don't let go till
it asks you about your location. Be aware that it will delete
everything saved in your phone memory. Let me know how it goes. :)
