Okay so bassicly my problem is, is that my xbox360 for the past 3 weeks has set it self to a 'Moderate' NAT for some reason I am unaware of. I would like to know however how to fix this and configure my router so it doesnt happen again.
SURFBOARD Modem, ISP : Bigpond Telstra, 54MBPS Netgear WGR614v7 Router, IP of ROUTER: 192.168.1.1, IP of XBOX: 192.168.1.4, IP of PC: 192.168.1.3 and router does have secerity set on it.
PLEASE HELP! THANKS IN ADVANCED!
Basically you have to open the application port of XBOX on your router. To do that you have to access the router's GUI and forward the ports. To access the router go to http://192.168.1.1 username is admin and password is password by default, click the port forwarding tab and open this ports
Click add customer service and type xbox for service name and the IP address of the xbox.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
