When on IE, and checking email I keep getting an hour glass shape

When you signed up to your service provider did they make you aware of the amount of storage you were allowed on their server

Also what is the download speed of your current ISP

If you are running on a low download rate ask your provider to boost it

Also check with your email provider that people are not sending you very big files that fills your mailbox very quickly and also take forever to download

There are times when a very large file just kills your system and needs to be deleted by the ISP so that your machine cranks over at a normally speed

Reinstall IE.
