Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone
My lg shine mobile wont connect with the usb driver when i try to install the software it says the software canno be installed because it has not passed windows logo testing. please help thank you.
for this problem, on your desktop right click on my computer and you will see your phone as on of the mass storage device and the other one is your memory, good luck

Hi shazy_123 this is nichu,i have a solution for this one
when the window pops up ,the software hasnt passed windows logo testing ,do you want to continue anyway.click on the option continue anyway by doing this there is no harm to your computer or your mobile this will install the necessity drivers and softwares in the cd .be cool

The best way to solve your problem, if you cant connect to the computer using your phone, go on my computer delete the disk drive and other one, you should then see that your 'phone card' will appear after then click undo several times until your disk drive and otoher are back.

Okay for all of you who have tried a gazillion times to install it uninstall it , when the screen comes up on the phone "usb mass storage, please dont disconnect" hit cancel button on the phone, you should be able to connect to your pc now!

i have a Lg shine and i can't seem to connect it to my computer.
i tryed it with the disc that came with the phone and then with out it but it still doesn't seem to work.
have and suggestions?

Well I have an Lg Kp500 ? It wont connect i used the disk that came with my phone but it wont find my device Im really upset, I know how sad right?! do either of you have a solution?

You might just have to wait mine is bloody agrivating it takes 10mins for pc to register it (usb sticks and 8gb pro duo us instant)
and keeps activating and deactivating i think itys my cable ill ge bluetooth adapter soon to get rid o problem
usually its problem with pc because when i conct to my vcomputer in service mode (take battery out and hold c and plug cable in when its switched of) but that only works when modifying firmware or adding patches)
mines a v630/w618/w610
and for a short period of time i had it as a w660

I was having this problem as well, but solved it.
I, like others decided to just buy a USB cable for my VX9900 and use Windows Media Player for sync'ing. (I also have the Verizon Essentials program that I downloaded, but I like WMP better. No particular reason).
I was getting the installation messages and as soon as the MTP message came up, I got the "problem" message and it didn't sync.
What I did when I got the cable was to run the CD drivers that came with my cable. That may have been my mistake. I was bothered that the date of my driver was in 2005 since the phone came out late in 2006. So I looked at the name of the driver and it was something like C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\LGUSBDriver.xxx whatever... I went to my device manager and uninstalled the driver. I went to the C:\Program Files\ and deleted the LG USBDrivers folder. I went to the Windows/system32/drivers folder and there were three LG*.* files I deleted them. The next time I plugged the phone in and set it to sync, it worked. It's late and night and I may not have typed this really clearly, so feel free to contact me at bill (at) halfamind.com (because a half a mind is still a terrible thing to waste).

You probably have the USB selection set incorrectly on the phone. Go to Menu, then Connectivity, then USB, then select "Data Service". The should fix it.
