I bought an ipod 2gig nano with 117 songs downloaded. I like maybe 30. how can I delete the other songs?

Generally speaking, you'll clean up your iPod with iTunes to erase unwanted songs and add new songs. You have two ways to delete music from iPod with iTunes, and they can be helpful when you want to get rid of the unwanted songs. iTunes provides automatic and manual methods to help you manage the songs in your device. When you are using the automatic way to manage iPod music, every time you connect iPod to computer with USB cable, your iPod will sync with iTunes Music library. If you have your iTunes Music library organized, you can delete unwanted music from iPod with this easy method. If you want to manually edit your iPod music, you can check Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically in iTunes by clicking Edit > Preferences > Devices. Then you can manually sync the songs and playlists to your iPod with iTunes.

Being 58 years old bought a nano ipod for my wife want to put music on it dont understand what to download to be able to use it ?

The first thing that you should do is download itunes from the apple website at once installed open up itunes and then plug in the supplied usb cable into the ipod and the other end into your computer. From itunes you can then go onto the apple store and buy music from the store or if you have music on CDs you can use itunes to pull the CDs onto your computer and from itunes and clicking on the devices section you can transfer the music onto your ipod. Hope this helps.

Ipod nano 4G silver not syncing

Well if you bought it off of ebay or some other internet site you might have bought a clone ipod that only syncs with windows media player, but if you bought it from a certified Apple reseller than I dont think I know. goodluck !

Ipod Nano

That means that the inverter board for the LCD has gone out or there is a bad connection internally and it is not getting the signal to display the info. Your best bet is to see how much Apple wants to fix it. If it is too much I would say time for a new one. Fry's Electronics is selling the new 8GB Nano for somewhere between 139 and 159. That is their regular price.

My I-Pod Nano accepted 101 songs as recordings but will not seem to show any other I load onto it. These show when I look at the I-Pod on the computer but I cannot see them to play on the nano.

you must use itunes to transfer music etc transfering mp3 direct to ipod will not work download itunes from here free to use and will collect your music for you on your computer and sort it out for your ipod... updates for your ipod are also handled by itunes

Tranferring music and photos from my computer to apple ipod nano 2GB

Its best to use Itunes, the files are stored in the ipod in a very complex way and its really easyest to use itunes.

I'm not sure what you really mean so do clarify if you already have itunes.
