The best that I can suggest is the following website to get a parts breakdown of your model. From the parts diagram it should be easy to figure out how to remove and replace the fan. http://www.thermador.com/customer-care

Double check each connector to be sure it is installed (aligned on pins) properly. Also check wiring diagram for a safety limit thermal switch. If it has one, push to reset it.

Look for a diagram for the wiring inside the unit.

That is proprietary Thermador information, they are the only ones that can provide that. Was it Thermador that you sent the display into for repairs? If so they should definitely be able to give you the information you need. Do you need their phone number?

the lights flashing in a sequence indicates the error code. The error codes indicates what the problem is with your stove. Based on the response to your message, it sounds like their error code is 12, one then two. It is not clear what your error code is.

There is an explanation of the error codes on the wiring diagram that comes with the stove. I found the wiring diagram for my stove taped to the inside of the kick plate. The kick plate had to be removed to find it.

my oven is not working either. the error code I get is 34. I am told by a technician that error code indicates that the computer is not recognizing that the cooling fan is operating, which is why my oven will not work.
When I try and order a new cooling fan from Thermador, the website says that it is temporarily out of stock. Obviously, other people are having the same problem I am.

Please see post by bonanzsapilot on 14 March 2009; he gives exact & easy to follow directions for making this repair for <$10. It's listed uner 'Thermador SC301IT oven - FixYa'. In a separate post I added the correct capacitor numbers from Newark.com. I made the fix in abt 30 min & it's good as new. Thermador no longer makes control panels for this oven & no wiring diagram is available to help. Shop price was estimated at $500.
