SOURCE: ASUS eeePC 900 Keeps rebooting at XP load screen.

You're computer is booting that's not your problem. Its just not booting into Windows which is a different subject, so a boot disk will not do you any good. You have some corrupted files at the Windows end not the start up end. The only way to correct the Windows corrupt files is to use a Windows disc. So you'll have to buy/borrow a portable DVD/CD player and a copy of windows. Once the Windows disc loads then its just a matter of clicking on "repair" when the disc asks..that one of the drawbacks of netbooks..If you have any questions let me know..

Try removing the battery and the charger of your laptop. After 30seconds, put it back. As soon as you press the power button keep on tapping F2. If you can still get into the BIOS. It means your keyboard is still responding. Try to restart it again, and see if you can use your keyboard.

Good afternoon. I disassembled my Asus eeepc 900hd to fix a fan noise; in doing that, the connector of the touch pad went outside its alluminium adesive holder. How can I put it bak in place?

Do you mean on the keyboard side, or the motherboard side? If it was keyboard side, there's nothing that can be done except buy a new keyboard. If it's on the motherboard side, there should be a clamp that can be released by either sliding or lifting slightly. Insert the ribbon cable back into the contact, and close the clamp.

Audio for asus eee pc 900 doesn't work

Hi thus your eeepc is still under warranty? Your eeepc comes with a recovery CD. But the problem is that laptop have no CD rom drive. You have to buy a CD rom Drive that you have to connect to usb, or you have to go to fry's and buy this tools deluxe usb 2.o to IDE cable for 2.5/3.5/5.25 drive with power adapter. find an old CD rom and use that so you can use the recovery CD that comes with the laptop. or you can do this copy that recovery CD to a 8g usb memory stick. them connect it to you eeepc. Hope this info will help you solve your problem.

How do you remove and replace the keyboard on an Asu EeePC 900?

Hi,
There are 3 little latches above the F keys that you have to push back with a small flat headed screwdriver, once you have pushed them back the keyboard will lift up from the base, be careful as there is a fragile ribbon cable that has to removed from the motherboard before you can take the keyboard completely away from the base.

Good luck.

Unable to load xp on eeepc 900 linux unit

There is a Win XP recovery disc for the unit. You could call Asus and request the XP Recovery CD or you could try checking torrents, newsgroups, etc. for "eeepc xp recoverydisc"
