Question about Fuji Finepix S9600 Digital Camera

1 Answer

My fuji finepix s 7000 has only been used for around 6 months--I'm now getting some shots blurred and out of focus and some are fine. I'm using auto everything as I'm not very bright about manual operation.

If there is a red AF sign after it focusus on the right of the screen, then the camera was not able to focus, so either point the camera at something a similar distanceaway from the object, then, holding the shutter button halfway down, turn the camera so that it is in the position you want, or switch the camera to manual focus (but im guessing that you dont want to do that) also the shutter speed might be too slow, if it is dark where you are, try a tripod or monopod, or go to S in modes, and increase the shutter speed (but not so much that the apeture turns red), and dont use telephoto in low light levels

Why Fuji Finepix XP20 won't take photos?

Check the settings of the camera. Put the recording mode for stills (photos) to auto, so the setting can't stop the camera from taking a picture. If you are in one of the manual modes, and the system calculates it won't be possible to make a picture (to dark, to light, or out of focus and so on) it won't react when you press the shutter release button.
Please use the manual, so you will be able to solve this every time it happens to you. The manual is still online.

TRY SETTING CAMERA TO DO CENTRE FOCUSING - CHECK USER
MANUAL.FOCUS MAY BE MISSING YOUR SUBJECT.
IF ALL PICTURE IS BLURRED USE TRIPOD. IF THIS CURES IT
THEN IT IS CAMERA SHAKE.

Camera will not focus correctly. when shutter button is pushed half way down the picture goes blurry, and if you take the photo it actually turns out blurry.

If you are taking close up photos, you might have to use the "macro" setting. The auto focus only works down to around 5 or 6 feet I think. I have an earlier model of that camera. I use mine for normal use and also close up for work related photos.

My Fuji 5000 is not performing like it used to on action shots - even when on auto mode. The blurriness is terrible and all my shots have the blurred look unless the subjects stand still.

Have you gone to the manual? It might be the film speed setting is too low which is adjusted through the menu button. If my memory is correct it would be in the setup mode. If you haven't already checked this, the higher the speed the better the action shots.

The pictures i take are blury how do i fix it

If you don't know how to use the manual focus switch it to auto focus, Check the MACRO feature, try to capture photos about 2 inch or 4 inch nearby the object, if the shots are clear and shooting in distant objects are blurred meaning you have set your camera to MACRO setting, Turn off the Macro feature

Blurred pictures on fuji finepix J15fd

This is the camera shake warning, and thus the blur. It is suggesting you are using too slow of a shutter speed for the lighting conditions. The flash should be set to "auto" in order that it will automatically fire if the light is insufficient. Check your flash settings to make sure it's not set to "slow-sync" or "fill-in" settings.

Auto Focus

I think I understand what you are after. If I get it right, you want the background as well as the subject in focus. To do this you will need to use a smaller aperture setting. This means switching the camera to the A (for aperture preferred) setting and selecting an aperture setting such as 5.6 or 8. With a brightly lit subject and a tripod, you should be able to get better landscape results.
