It say no source found

Hello Abugah,

For "no source found" errors, we recommend starting with the input device and the wires (assuming you have selected the correct input on the projector). Swap wires and sources until you figure out if the problem is with the projector or not.

If you are using a computer, make sure that it is on the right settings. On laptops there is usually a button you can press to cycle through display options (normally a function key + another).

If you figure out that it is, in fact, a problem with the projector we recommend going to a professional to fix the problem. If you are in the United States we can fix the projector. Projector AV Systems Repair Services

Before you send in the projector to anyone, contact Optoma to see if it is still under warranty.

Hope this helps!

Locked in searching source

Click menu, go to the third screen, unclick source lock, and select the proper source, remember that the format need to be setup according to your output that's coming in to the projector. Under each source format there are sub menus for various input types as well.

The screen is upside down and when I click "set up" or "System" it reads "Source Unavailable" and I have no options to choose from.

Apply the Factory Reset within the projector options. You should be able to select that option without a source attached to the projector. What the option does is set every settings of the projector back to factory default.

How achieve maximum resolution acer projector

When you connect a source to the projector, the unit will match the resolution input to it. As long as you don't exceed the max resolution, which is considerable, the unit will display it. Go into the menu and select auto-image to have the projector give you the best quality image. Hope I helped you!---Rick

SRC button on cinego projector will not read source

Hi,

Three (3) things you can try:
1. Lower down the Screen resolution of your laptop as well as the Color quality and the Screen refresh rate before doing the Fn + F5. If it works, adjust thereafter;
2. Do a soft (Factory) reset of your Cinego in the in the Management Menu (credit to Cooljazz); and/or
3. it is just "slow" in sensing the presence of a VGA source as it cycles in its selection, internal DVD, VGA, Composite Video IN. Since it does not have a manual source selection, your only option is to really wait or ...Verify that "Auto Source Select" is enabled in the Management Menu (buttons-Proj/Setup then >/9) and "tap" the "SRC" button on the projector itself to manually initiate the input/source selection.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
