Because scanned text in jpeg form and word is document form..there must be need converter jpg to doc converter. You can use omnipage .it converts jpg to doc

Try Microsft Document Imaging. It's included in Microsoft Office Tools which you should find in the "Microsoft Office \ Microsoft Office Tools" folder in the start menu.
