So i plug in my Zen and it turns on and I left it on charge for a few hours and when I took it off charge and tried to turn it on nothing happened, and still this is happening, I can only use it when it's plugged in on charge, why can't I use it on it's own?

The battery has crapped out. Look on google for a new battery. This requires some fix-it skills to replace.
