Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

E250R not recognized by computer after downloading itunes

My mp3 player is now not recognized by my computer. The problem started when I downloaded itunes for my niece, and ever since then, the computer will not recognize the mp3 device. I have since uninstalled itunes, but I am still having problems.
On the computer, it does list the mp3 player as Sansa e200R, but when I try to open it, it says “please insert device into drive “I”. I’ll unplug and plug again, but get the same error message. And everytime I plug in my mp3 player, this autoplay window comes up with this crazy flashlight trying to look for the device. This never used to happen. I always got a pop-up menu of what I wanted to do with the device once recognized, but not anymore…ahhh! The only good news is that my mp3 player is charging, but the funny thing is that there used to be arrows linking the mp3 player with the computer on the screen, but now there are no arrows at all.

I have updated my drivers and downloaded the new version of sansa media converter, but nothing is working. I am very frustrated and need help! Thanks in advance!

How do i download itunes?

Hi shaheelathah

You will go to the Itunes website and download Itunes to your computer,
You will then run Itunes on your computer and plug in your mp3 player.
Itunes will recognize the player and install Itunes into your player...
Note....the mp3 player has to be Apple...Itunes will not work with other players

Hi nikonf2a

You will need to download Itunes to your computer, download your songs into Itunes, after you get your songs downloaded to Itunes, then you will plug in your Apple Ipod into your computer with Itunes running on the computer.
The Itunes will recognize the mp3 player and download your songs on to it.

How to download mp3

You must have ITunes downloaded to your computer.
Then you will transfer all you music, video, etc to ITunes.
After you have moved your songs to ITunes, then plug in your Apple Nano MP3 player to your computer.
ITunes will recognize the MP3 player and then you can transfer your songs, video, etc to your player.
To play the songs,Video, etc on the Apple MP3 players, they must be in ACC format.
If you need to change your songs to ACC format then you will need a "Media Converter"
You can download a FREE Media Converter at this website:
