2002 isuzu rodeo 4 cyl twin electric radiator fans when cold turn igniton on fans run on high speed , it has a brand new battery and the alternater is checked ok it will not run hot and after it runs

Assuming the check engine light is not on, I would want to know what the engine temp sensor is doing.
A scanner would tell you what the temp sensor is showing - if it is unplugged or there is a problem with the wiring the fans will run as a default to prevent the engine from overheating. It could be a fan relay but I doubt it. A relay usually works or not.

Have a goodman heat pump and air mover smelt plastic burning and cut tremostat off fan continues to run with a little warm air coming out with it off on thermostat

Hi, did you smell this plastic burning at the thermostat? The stat is only low voltage, 24 volts but may have shorted the fan contacts together causing the fan to run. The way to check is to take the first section of the stat off. Get to the wires coming in. Should have several since it is a heat-pump, but remove the red wire and tape or clip the bare end off. Turn on breaker back on. If the fan stays off, the stat is faulty. Make sure you buy a heat-pump stat. If fan keeps running, the problem will be in the main board/defrost board. It has shorted causing the fan to run and this is where the smell came from. You can sometimes remove the 4 screws to board and look at the back and if your lucky you will see the burned spot. Make sure the breaker is off first. Let me know. Good luck,

Electric dryer spins no heat, replaced heater element and high limit thermostat, tested thermal fuse and it does have 0 ohms, thermistor reads ~50 ohms.

in addation to checking the high limit t-stat have you checked the thermal cut off (the small t-stat) on the heater housing where the element fits into, the high limit t-stat and the thermal cut off BOTH shoud have 0 ohms (the thermal fuse is in the blower housing) the cut off is on the heater box, if you have checked those to be good, check that the heat relay on the control board is closing and sending power to the element, if not replace the control, if all above are good then the motor switch is bad and not sending power to the element(thats a built in safety feature so the dry would never heat when the motor isnt running)the element of course heats only when 240 volts ac is to the element ,120vac from the relay on control through the high limit t-stat then through the thermal cut off finally to the element and 120vac from the motor switch for a comined 240 vac

I have an Intertherm electric furnace an sometimes it won't start but if I shut off the Tstat then turn it back on the furnace runs fine for awhile thought that it was T stat then thought that it was...

Electric strips have what's called a Sequencer also called a stack relay it's a relay that brings on the fan and strips at the same time on a call for heat. If you have more than 5kw you will have more than one Sequencer in fact you will have one for every 5kw.(only the first one will bring on the fan) It could be your high limit making your unit stop heating before it reaches the temp set on the T-stat. Check and see if your getting proper air flow across the electric strips your filter could be dirty. If not remove the cover from your T-stat and take the red and white wires off and twist them together this will bring on the heat then just watch the unit for about an hour if no problems then you have a bad T-stat. If the unit does cut off and the fan seems to be blowing fine you might have a bad high limit switch.

hope this helps........

When in heat mode heater keeps turning on and off has trouble to keep running cuts in and out for about one minute then only runs for short time and of sometimes trips the switch in meter box ( small...

the cutting in and out is indicating that it has reached its internal thermal limits .. its too hot inside .. that trips a thermal breaker .. the breaker resets when the unit cools ... the problem is almost always caused by not enough air flow ... the intake is blocked or dust has accumulated preventing proper air flow ... or the fan could be not running or running too slow .. make sure it turns freely ... clean out any dust and filters if any ... make sure air intake and exhaust are not blocked ...

Coleman furnace -- fan runs, ingniter won't light,

Hi,
The chances are that the furnace was running when the power went out. This will cause the high limit switch to cutout and needs to be manually reset.
You will find that switch in the blower compartment near the blower. Usually somewher near the highest point of the cabinet.
Push the little red button firmly till it clicks.
When the power goes out while the furnace is running the heat builds up because the blower shuts down immediately and causes this limit switch to cut out.
If you have a electric tester you can also follow the low voltage circuit till you find the open switch. Ther is usually a wiring schematic on the door cover of most furnaces.

I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!

Thanks for using Fixya!!

Aeg b3101 oven / grill cutting out

Ther are a couple of possibilities that could be causing your problem.
A thing called the safety stat could be cutting the oven out, it is designed to cut off the oven in the case of overheating This is what brings on the cooling fan. Sometimes they cut out prematurly for example you may not have enough vetilation, check for restricted or blocked vents.
The stat itself could be faulty again causing the oven to cut out,and then as it cools down it resets itself and so on and so on.
The thing to do after you hve checked evrything else is toichange the stat.
It is usually located on the top of the outer oven compartment, it is about 1" or so long with a feed in and out of it
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks, and merry xmas.

Fan assisted oven keeps going off ?

there is an overheat stat and this is cutting the oven off
things to check are.
is casing fan running ok? (this is the tangential fan inside the casing at the back and not the fan inside the fan oven)
this second fan is turned on by a fan stat. maybe this is faulty
is there plenty of ventilation?
is oven in fact overheating?
