Top left side of the phone just below the ringer off/on switch there are two buttons. Top button (+) increases volume; bottom button (-) reduces volume. I think that's pretty much a feature on all iPhones.

The volume can also be changed in Settings > Sounds.

The easiest way to turn up the volume on an iPhone 4s is by using the volume buttons on the left top edge of the phone. The volume buttons are two small circle buttons and the one to turn the volume up is the one on top.

SOURCE: iPhone 4S Issues/Will Not Turn On

Hello, First check to see that your power cord is working to charge your unit. Then remove the battery and let set for 2 mins and then put back into unit. If this doesn't fix then you will have too call cust service or tech support for iphone and work with them. May have too send in too have repaired.

Could you have turned the ringer off? Rather easy to do, just press the "volume down" several times, and no ring.

How to turn volume up on iPhone 4s

While your talking to someone try to push the button on the side of your phone with a "+" on it and it should get louder and just continue pushing it until the bar that comes up on your screen is full. If this doesn't work then there might be something wrong with your speaker.

I cant turn on the ringer-so I miss calls

Try going to settings, then choose sounds. Try adjusting your volume by sliding the volume bar left to right.
You can also go to general, choose accessibility, then scroll down to assistive touch. Turn on assistive touch. That will put a small icon on your iPhones touch screen. You can turn your volume on or off through this button, you can also adjust your volume up or down through this. Hope this helps!

How do I turn my ringer back on on my I Phone 4S

There's a switch near the volume buttons on the side of the phone. If it is red, the ringer is off. If it is not red, while your phone is on and unlocked, repeatedly press the "up volume button" .

Iphone volume when disconnected from bluetooth

The iPhone detects when earphones are plugged in, and deals with volume differently as your speaker volume may be inappropriate for the use with earphones. Bluetooth is managed with the same volume level as earphones. Once it is disconnected manually adjust the volume with the volume buttons or check if your silencer button is not activated. Hope this helps!
