Display I can turn my razor on and off, recieve calls, make them, and my buttons light up, but I can't see anything on my screen; it's just black. I don't know what exactly is wrong because I didn't drop it or anything major like that. Thanks!

Re: Display

Hi. I too have the same problem. I did get this serviced, not once but twice. They apparently replaced the cable. Yet I ran into the same problem again. Do not wish to go again and pay for the replacement which is quite expensive. Any other tests we can do to ensure that it is just the cable ?? Thanks in anticipation.

Re: Display

If you are feeling like tackling the repair yourself, you can try opening up the phone (unscrews from the back under the battery) and checking to make sure the ribbon cable for the screen is plugged in good. The same ribbon cable for the screen does the speaker, and the earpiece. If those are all working, and its plugged in properly, its probably not the cable, and may be the screen itself.
Let me know if that helps.

Re: Display

You both need to take the phones to a mobile service center or technician in your areas and have them replace the flexcable for you.

I'm having a problem with my screen turning black as soon as I make a call or recieve a call it comes back on when I plug it in. I can't hangup from a call or anything when it does go black can someone...

The screen on the droid shuts off to conserve battery power. The amount of time that it remains on can be adjusted in the settings menu, under sound and display, screen timeout. The screen can be turned back on after a timeout by pressing the power button on top of the phone momentarily (quickly, dont hold down). Also, the screen will go black when you hold the phone up to your ear, and then light back up when you remove it from your ear. Hope this solves your problem, if not just let me know.

My screen on motorolo razor is black

Black as in won't display anything? I'm not sure how old your phone is but, if there is no display at all, it sounds like the connection between the display and the actual phone has either broken or come loose. I would at least take it somewhere to have it looked at because it could have just come lose or possibly be another problem all together. However, if it the connection is broken (and I hate to be the bearer of bad news) there isn't really anything you can do to fix it.

it shows that you are having flex cable issues - common problem with the v3. you would have to bring it to a local repair shop or order a keypad flex and button flex cable to do yourself.
the parts are about $15-40 and a shop will charge about $25 to install

if all else fails contact me and we can help arrange it.
