Question about Western Digital Elements powered by WD 320 GB External USB (WDE1U3200N) Hard Drive
Worked fine for a few months now no power to harddrive
havent bumped it or knocked it at all but it has been plugged in constantly
Do you think its a manufacturing problem??
Yes, without a doubt!
I highly recommend sending it back for repairs or replacement. Most are covered under a 6 month warranty depending on the deal, and the country you are in as well. And computer shops don't generally fix things like External Drives, since they are not as a important part of a PC, but as a backup or storage device.
Good luck mate.
