Problem for Whirlwind -Air Cooler with Heater and Humidifier, FH-778...
Fan not turning and unit will not cool house.
I have 2 units outside, One is fine and cooling house but the other is not!!! Fan is not turning and the line to the unit that is suppose to be cool is not. AS a matter of fact.....the unit not working is hot to the touch on the top of the unit. Anyone know what is going on?

Sounds like your fan motor is over heated. It may be that the capacitor has gone bad or that the motor is siezed up. Do you have access to a tester that reads micro farads to test capacitor?

Maybe you have a bad duel run capacitor. That capacitor would cause both the fan motor and compressor to heat up and turn off on internal overload. You may want to have a qualified techician test your system.
