My iphone will not turn on

Plug the phone into your computer and load up itunes on the computer click on your phone.

Click on the button that says Restore iPhone. It make take a little while to accomplish.

Hold the power button and home button down together for 10 seconds, or until you see a white apple.

take it to the apple store and tell em you want a replacement, you get 1 year warranty on iphone 5 i beleive

Connect it to iTunes, you might need to activate it, or restore it.
that's all that means. There's no verifiable OS active on the phone

This is one of the Accessibility features of the iOS. What you should do is tap on the screen using 3 fingers at the same time to zoom out to normal screen size.


To turn off that feature, go to Settings>General>Accessibility> Turn OFF Zoom or any of the other stuff in there if you don't need it.

if part of your screen isnt responding to touch then it could be either software or hardware related, best thing to do it back everything up via itunes and if jailbroken cydia stuff through aptbackup, then do a restore in itunes (if jailbroken shift+restore for custom firmware)
Then once it has finished see if this has corrected the problem.

If not, then you have a fault with your digitizer. This is basically a film behind the glass of the screen which tells the iphone where you fingers are etc.
You can buy a new digitizer pretty cheap from ebay, just look up a guide on how to install it (you can keep your exisiting LCD) and this will fix the problem.

try a thing called tiny umbrella (http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/) what u do is u download it ( make shore you're flash player , java and all that stuff is up to date). 1.then plug your iphone in leave itunes open and click on your iphone name in the left corner of the tiny umbrella screen . 2.then is should say on the screen start tts server click that then click exit recovery mode click that then leave your iphone then eventually it should pop up on itunes. 3. then restore your iphone from its last none back up.

Reset the phone by pressing and holding the Power button and the home button till you see the apple logo on the screen.

You may need to press and hold the sleep button. If not try to treat it like an ipod. Hold the center button at the bottom and the top one at the same time. Should reboot.

I would recommend jailbreaking the iPhone then trying to move on with your restore.
