Can a Motorola talk about 250 talk to a cobra CXT 195. They can hear me from the Motorola I just cant hear them

Your code (PL code, interference eliminator, quiet call) is not programmed the same on both radios. The Cobra appears to be set to open squelch (no code). Set your Motorola code setting to zero (off). This should solve the problem.

I can send but not receive messages on my Motorola Talkabout MH Series Two-Way Radio.

Check your CODE aka interference code eliminator. Both radios must have the same frequency and code to communicate.

Problems setting the Interference eliminator code for a Motorola MR350 Talkabout

Holding in the MENU a long press will turn the LOCK on or off. You will need the menu unlocked for the following...

However, if you press the MENU button repeatedly, not holding it in a long press, you will walk through all the menu items, and there you will see when the CODE number begin to flash. You will also see setting for other features as you walk though the menu. Refer to your manual for these settings.

Best regards.

Will the Motorola Talkabout T289 work with a Uniden Scramble? So far we can get the uniden to recieve a signal from the Motorolla but not vice versa

Here is a link to the user guide for the T289.

You might try setting the interference code eliminator to zero (off) and see if they match. If not, try each of the 38 codes individually until you find the one which matches the Uniden.

Best regards.

What code to use for motorola sport 7 walkie talkies

Sport 7 radios were sold before the "interference eliminator code" was a standard option. In most cases setting your other radios to code zero would match the Sport 7 radio.

If this does not solve your problem please post another question and list the model of your other radio you are trying to use with the Sport 7.

Best regards.

Have purchased the sx709 on the other uhf they can hear me but I can't hear them

Your interference code eliminator is set differently than theirs. If we were to guess theirs is set to off (zero) and yours is set to a number. Also, check to see your Qt filter, if any, is off.

I am having problems pairing my FV-500 Motorola Talkabout walkie talkies. Can someone help me?

Walk through the steps of the initial set up, being certain the frequency, interference eliminator code and Qt filter match one another. If any one of these three does not match, the radios will not work together. The Qt filter can be problematic, you might want to set it to zero.

Motorola t5100 cant hear the other person talking into the radio

Check to see you have the radios set to the same frequency and interference eliminator code as one another. This would be the most likely cause.

Hello gc0273,

Make sure that both radios are using the same Interference Eliminator Code. The situation you describe sounds like one radio has a Interfernce Eliminator Code activated and the other radio does not.

To access the Interfence Eliminator Code setting on this radio press and hold the MENU button until the code starts to flash, then use the + or - keys to adjust the setting and press the PTT to save it.

Best Regards
