How to replace the cmos battery?

Re: c110 tablet

This is likely your CMOS battery dying on you and resetting your computer's date. Hitting F2 I belive it is will allow you to access your bios and on the second page you can see your date. It will likely be Jan 1st, 1988. Use your number keys to adjust the date and use your tab key to move between month, day, year, ect.

This is a temporary fix however and you will have to do this often until you have your CMOS battery replaced. I have a Travelmate that has the same problem.

When you boot your computer, start up your BIOS, then under the boot menu, make sure USB is listed as the 1st option.

To log into your BIOS, press the "Boot Option" key. It might be F1, F2 or Delete

Acer travelmate C110 & Acer projector X11602

Hi Andrew,

you can try changing the output of the travelmate, to VGA Or External Device.
ensure you have the correct output lead from computer to projecter. Then on your keyboard you should have a button that changes the output. i.e numerical 5-6-7 or 8. usually says LCD/VGA et,c.
failing this try altering the output in the systems bios setup.
you can enter this by pressing F2 Or esc at bootup.
if your unsure, and none of this helps, i,d suggest visiting acers site. and downloading the user manual(s)
