Question about Danby 3.6 cu. ft. / 102 liter Chest Freezer Millenium DCF401W
I just bought a used Danby freezer (Model # DCF520W) today and it's been on all day and the items I put in this morning should be frozen. Some are only slightly freezing, but it's more or less keeping things cold like a refrigerator. I'm wondering what the problem could be. Would it either be the temperature control switch or the thermostat or?????Thanks for all info. Jim
Should operate 24 hours before putting anything in that is not already frozen. Check it again after it has run for 24 hours. Anytime you adjust the thermostat go one click at a time and wait 24 hours for it to stabilize.
