"CAUTION" !!! Before running anything on propane system. Have a manometer test done on complete system before and after running all appliances. A manometer test will certify/verify, that there are no leaks in any part of the piping system, as well as appliances that could cause dangerous , if not fatal results, such as an explosion. Even if it cost $50-$100 for certified RV propane technician to test it, and certify it, what is the price you put on a life? Just because it lights and runs, doesn't mean it isn't leaking.

Recently purchased a 4400W generator to operate travel trailer primarily and on occasion my ac unit. Connected the generator to the travel trailer, then ran the a/c, everything going well, then the circuit...

What size circuit breaker is on the generator that is tripping? You'll need a 20amp for AC alone, then consider other things that are drawing current when RV plugged in like , converter, fridge etc that may be drawing current at same time. Make sure fridge is on propane, as well as water heater if you have electric element option on water heater. AC may only draw 12-15 amps when running if good and clean and wired properly, but will draw 17-18 amps when compressor kicks in. Perhaps generator not designed for that surge?

We just purchased a 1993 bounder motorhome and the gas inst flowing. the tanks are full but we dont get any to the water heater or the stove.

Follow every line to find the shutoffs. Unless they are clogged that is the likely issue.
Each the wheater and stove have their own shutoffs.

2003 wildwood travel trailer manual

Most travel trailer manuals are basically the same. Have you tried contacting the Manufacturer? (Forest River) The appliances are normally separate from the owners manuals, such as fridge, stove, water heater etc. Is there anything specific that you are having concern with at this time, that I may be able to assist with? Also, as far as the appliances go, most manufacturer's have a site you can go to and download manuals for them off the internet.

Just bought a used 1987 Real-Lite truck camper. The roof air unit is Dometic as well as the LP/AC refrigerator. When turned to "cool" the air conditioner really draws down, dims the lights, and eventually...

To start with, if it's plugged in to a 15 amp breaker, and extension cord, the compressor starting up may just be enough to trip the breaker. It will draw close to 15 amps on start-up of compressor, and if there is a light extension cord used to plug it in, that only makes it worse. Make sure you shut all other breakers off in panel except AC, and try it. If you have water heater on hydro, fridge on hydro, and then try to start AC compressor, you'll be way over the 15 amps, especially if it's a light extension cord.
Keep in mind, in order for fridge to work, you need 12 volts DC (Battery) power going to back of fridge. If the controls aren't lighting up at top, you've most likely got no 12 Volt DC power going to fridge. Check all fuses as well.

I have a dometic RM2201 3 way fridge my problem is that my fridge does not work but my freezer does why would this be?

Sorry woodchuck789 Rank: Guru. The Dometic RM2201 does not have any of these things; vent(damper), fan in the freezer, auto defrost, defrost timer, defrost heater, or a defrost thermostat.
mickamoose, Most likely the camper is not sitting level. It needs gravity to work correctly. The fins in the back of the refrigerator get cooling from the refrigerant leaving the freezer compartment. If all else fails, leave to freezer compartment door open inside the refrigerator. Parts for this unit are getting hard to find and these RM2201 refrigerators will never work as well as the one in your house. One alternative is to replace the refrigerator with a dorm or office type refrigerator. They are cheep and work well except only on 115 Volts AC.

Furnace won't turn on, off, with or without remote

We hotwired the thermostat wires and the furnace started. That told us that the problem was with the thermostat. We took our remote control to another camper like ours and our remote worked their furnace. That told us that the problem was in the ceiling control for the furnace/ac. But the man who owned the other camper told us that he had a problem, too, and was told to unplug all the electric including the battery, wait 2 minutes, and hook up again. This might reprogram the circuitboard, and voila! It worked.

Frdge freezing everything

Check to make sure the thermistor is attached to the fins on the inside of the fridge. Otherwise you may have a bad control cable assy.
