Question about Rv Motorhome Dual Co & Lp Gas Alarm Detector
Have tanks tested and certified if need be install back on camper screw on hoses to tanks open valves spray soap and water on fittings make sure no bubles if bubbles repair leaks spray all fittings were propane fittings in system tighten to check for small leaks if no leaks proceed to lighting pilot lites on heater-hot water tank-stove(is in oven and possibly under burners)and fridge on back of fridge(everything should have instructions on it)turn knobs to pilot push in knob lite hold for a few minute till pilot stays lit then turn to on position-may haft to hold pilot for a while to get propane thru all pipes start with unit farthest from tank.(also if stove top doesnt have pilot you can get all air out by turn on burner till it lites-ac should work on 110vac may haft to remove top cover and clean fins with degreaser and hose-water system i will add a cup of bleach and ciculate thru system let sit then flush out entire water system(to prime waterpump hook up hose to side of camper turn on rack all valves turn off all valves pump should be primed)should have 12v deep cycle i use a semi truck battery same thing alot cheaper and heavy duty i buy at battery store for 30dollars instead of a hundred at walmart and last longer-keep top tarped as uv rays will dry out seams(if leaks i goto place that sells semi-trailer parts and buy vulcam one gallon $50.00 a gallon and paint on all seams on top-vents seams etc anywere it could possibly leak)always keep tarped and tarp will take uv rays and weather not roof tarps are cheap compared to leaks)make sure in fall you winterize keep battery inside house were warm drain all water out of system should be valve at low spot if not blow out system if you get all water out of entire system shouldnt need rv antifreeze stuff has terrible taste and hard to flush out!!!dont set camper on ground set on pallets or something instead of straight on ground!!!!goto library get book on rv's learn as much as you can and you will be prepared and wont ruin a good camping trip because of equipment failure!!!Best of Luck to Youfirstname.lastname@example.org
