Remove the screws that attach the top panel at the back of the machine, slide the top backwards and remove the top panel.
Run the machine as per normal, but be careful as the electrics will now be exposed, you will be able to see where the water is leaking from and be able to repair/replace defective part.
A quick and easy way to find out which tray is which is to pull the detergent drawer out just so that you can see into it. Start a pre-wash and see where the water runs in, then advance to the main wash and observe. Finally start a rinse cycle and where the water goes in is where the conditioner/softener goes.
In a few cases I have come across, the pre-wash tray shares with the conditioner/softener part but the pre-wash powder goes in the front and the softener in the back.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

DE error does mean the door latch, but there are three parts that could cause the error code.If you have changed the door lock already then the main p.c.b/computer board has failed and not registering the door lock but there is a 5-10% chance it's the wiring connecting the two parts together. So basically you need to change the main p.c.b & if that doesn't work it needs to be rewired.unless you know how to use a multi-meter then you could test the wiring for a definate answer.THANKS ECO KIZZA
Hi just read your posting.Does your machine trip the power as soon as it is turned on or after it has been on for a time?Usually on the front loaders it is the heating element that trips the safety switch.Have you tried setting the wash temp to a cold wash? Please reply with additional information and I will help you as much as I can.Looking forward to your reply.
THe child lock is on. Mine came on for some random reason. On my LG front loader there is a button on the right hand side with a cartoony picture of a child and a padlock. Press this.
