Question about InFocus ScreenPlay 5000 Multimedia Projector
Just installed the third bulb in the projector. It ran for about 6 hours at different intervals. The final episode was about 45 minutes total. The fans sped up, ran for about two minutes and POP!
Now normally if it overheats, I can pull the plug for a few minutes and the red LED turns green and we're back to normal.
I've tried different outlets and power cords but no matter the combination, no LED at all. There is a heat senstive switch in this projector. I've jumped the sensor and found that the LED still does not light.
I'm hoping for a hiddent fuse somewhere I don't see!
The power supply is bad. there is a fuse on it, but it wouldn't be a occasional problem. the caps on the ps board may be drying up and causing it notto function. replace the ps.
