Hayward great white just spins in circles

Could you clarify the exact model? The picture shows a Polaris 380, and the Great White is built by Sta-Rite/ Pentair,(now sold under the name Kreepy Krauly), not Hayward.
Confused yet? Don't feel bad, I am too!

My brand new Polaris 380 booster pump is noisy. What do I do?

Thank you for posting your question here on Fixya.com.

It is likely due to cavitation in the booster pump impeller. The easiest way to correct the issue is to slowly close a throttling valve on the booster discharge. If there is not one present install a ball or gate valve near the pump discharge line and slowly close it with everything running until the noise stops. Generally speaking closing the valve about a quarter of the way seems to be when most pumps run quietly but the setting is unique to each installation.

Which pressure should i use on uwf polaris assembly 380

It might not be your booster pump. First, check the filter screen and clean if necessary. Often, this is the only problem when these pool cleaners are having problems. Clean the skimmer, pump, and filter also. You will also want to check all connections and hoses to make sure that you don't have a leak.

The polaris booster pump motor does not start. I hear it humming. I took the end cap off and turned the shaft without a problem. I took off the capacitor and tested it and it works. What should I check...

I my name is Juan and I was a pool repair tech in california and if your capacitor is good and your motor turns freedly with your hand then is time to replace your motor for a new one if you planing to do this make sure you replace the water seal is a good time to do it
