I turned my phone off for two weeks while I was away on vacation, and when I turned it back on I didn't receive any messages. I'm still having trouble receiving current messages from contacts.
SOURCE: forwarding texts
Unfortunately it's not possible to forward texts with the SMS application that comes with the iPhone.
There is a third party application that allows forwarding text messages, but it appears to be available only for jailbroken phones: http://www.iphonefaq.org/archives/97332
There should be a third party app available in the app store soon with more robust SMS features.
SOURCE: hi im having trouble receiving
Hi welcome to fixya! The problem is not in your phone, its on the network service provider. If your iPhone has a universal connection which mean ready for another network then try another sim card, if still don't work out, look for a software that could upgrade your iPhone system. try it, it works on me!
SOURCE: "Check Operator Services" when sending a text
most probably you have disabled the CLI thing. In which your cell tries
to prevent your number being shown to the person you are calling.
It is usually under Network settings, or Call settings (CLI/Show my number/Send my Number).
SOURCE: i want to viw my texts by received and sent rather than all mixed up together
Sorry, cant be done!
SOURCE: how do I view or recover _sent_ SMS messages on iPhone 4?
When you are going to recover deleted text messages from iPhone, what you need to do first is check whether you did a backup.
If the backup exist, you can recover them directly by:
Enter DFU Mode and Scan for Deleted Text messages/sms
Preview and recover lost SMS
If the backup doesn't exist, you must turn to help for iPhone data recovery, which is easily found in net.
