The memory card is in my phone and i don't know where i can view its capacity. i can't upload music from my PC into the phone because it says it has no enough memory. when i use my Nokia PC Suite, there only appears "phone memory" and the things inside it, but no memory card.
i'm new to Nokia 5300, by the way. so please help me. thanks a lot!
Your Nokia 5300 takes a MicroSD Memory Card i would use only a 2 g card most phone willnt work good with anything but the 2gig. the memory card gos in the back of your phone. pull the back cover off and you will see where the card goes.

Try sending the photos to a cloud service on the web, then transfer to a memory card that could be inserted into the Photo Frame. If the phone has a memory card you can get an adapter to upload to a PC then back to a memory card for the Photo Frame.
To have more storage capacity for your phone, delete unimportant SMS in your INBOX, OUTBOX and SENT ITEMS. Delete also unimportant pictures, videos, music and ringtones. The phone memory is relatively small and is shared to all data and other files that are stored in the phone. By deleting some of these will free you some memory.
Alternatively, you can also put in a Micro SD memory card (Memory Card model depends to what your cell phone is compatible of, Micro SD is a sample) to your phone which will also increase its storage capacity. A Micro SD Card look something like the picture below.
The best way to find the memory capacity is to open either the music player or the messaging option on the menu. Then hit the options key and the last thing on the list that pops up will say "Memory Status". Open that and you can see both the phone memory and the memory card memory,
Hope this helps!
Also, if it does help, make sure you rate it for me, ok?
hey there. you have only had it for 5 months which is good you found the problem. you should have a 12 month waranty with your provider so it can be sent back to nokia and everything fixed for free as long as there is no physical damage other wise you will have to pay! they should tell you instore. it sounds like you have a software issue so they need to put new software on there which they will. you will be without a phone for a while but they may give you a loan phone for the meantime.(turning on/off means software issue)
the way you were transfering it with the drag to phone icon is correct!
the only thing before you take it back to get fixed you must save all contacts photos/ files etc because they will all be lost! its getting everything back to square one!! take out the memory card before you give it back! they might flog it! and the sim of course, also take your paper work if you can find it. from when you signed up with the phone. have imei number on thier for warranty purposes. if not they should be able to obtain it for you.
