SOURCE: need to know how fuel line end in fuel tank on a

Your Craftsman trimmer is made my Poulan/Weedeater and uses 2 different sized lines. The smaller diameter line is the fule supply line and runs from the pickup filter in the tank to the supply side of the carb. The supply side is usually the lower of the fuel nipples on the carb. Make sure to put enough line in the tank so the filter can drop to the lowest point of the tank while you are trimming. The larger diameter line is the return line, and will connect to the nipple on the carb that is closest to the primer bulb. From the factory, the return line went into the tank and had a small clear plasted connector on the end to prevent it from slipping back out of the tank. This fitting does not connect to anything in the tank, it is merely a return line. If the return line fitting is missing, just make sure to leave a couple of inches of line in the tank. If the filter is missing, you MUST replace will save you from having to clean the carb out every 10 minutes of run time.
Good luck!

Fuel line routing on craftsman blower vac serial number 9528n06419

The small line goes to the fuel filter and the larger one is the vent to the fuel tank. The primer should have a large and small outlet and then you can put the small to small and the large to the large outlet. The fuel line from the tank goes to the carb. Hope this helps.

Need to replace both fuel lines on My BVM200 LE leaf blower, 1 large and 1 small fuel line, can You tell what size they are??

On your blower, it looks like the small line supplies fuel to the carburator which will be connected to the fuel filter in the tank, and the large line looks like the fuel return line.

I have a weedeater 150 mph blower that i need to replace the small and large fuel lines. Do both lines go to the bottom of the tank? does it matter which nipple the large hose goes onto? At the moment the...

Both lines do go to the bottom of the tank. One is the supply line (has in-tank fuel filter on it) and the other is the fuel return line (only needs to be in the tank for 1/2" or 1". It does matter which nipple on the external primer bulb the lines connect to. One sucks in and one pushes out. If you push on it with your finger covering one of the nipples, it is easy to tell if it is sucking or pushing. It will make a little pop, when you remove your finger if it is sucking. Here is the lowdown.
The small diameter line out of fuel tank (has filter in-tank on end) connects directly to the side of the carburetor that has the fuel pump....that is the cover without the hole in it. Other larger diameter fuel line out of tank connects to the longer nipple on the external purge/primer bulb. The bulb "pulls" fresh fuel from the fuel tank to the carb and then out of the carb to itself, where it then "pushes" any air/old fuel back into the fuel tank. The remaining larger diameter fuel line in this setup goes from the metering chamber (has cover with writing on it and a vent-hole) side of the carburetor to the smaller nipple on the purge/primer bulb. Again, on the primer bulb, the longer nipple has a line going directly from it to the tank. This is the return line. The shorter nipple on the bub has a line from it going to the metering chamber side of the carb. If the purge/primer bulb is on top of the carb...small line from carb body to small hole in tank with filter. Larger diameter line goes from the bulb on the fuel pump side of the carb to the larger hole in the fuel tank where sometimes the line is held in place with a nylon nipple connector that keeps the line from pulling out of the tank. Otherwise, the line should enter the tank for 1/2" or so.

Not shore wat side of carb hose gets filter large hose or small hose? The larger hose goes too the pump side and the small hose goes to the other side?

Small gas line goes thru fuel tank and has the in-tank fuel filter on it and connects to the outlet on the BODY of the carburetor. The other larger line goes from the Purge?Primer bulb on top of the carburetor to the larger hole in the fuel tank and is only a fuel return line. The fuel filter holds the small line in the tank and a small nylon connector holds the larger line in the tank or it can just be pushed thru 1/2-3/4" or so and it will stay in place.

I need info on a Poulan Pro 445 fuel line routing

I'm so confused. This is reported as a Poulan and McCulloch pole saw, which one? Is it a pole saw? That is the only 445 Poulan I can find. It is reported as an electric but has a fuel routing problem.

If it is a Poulan Pro gas pole saw it is here: PP445 Gas Pole Pruner
The fuel system routing is terrible, but it is all there is.
Fuel Routing follows:
Tank to carburetor (hose in tank with filter on free end)
Carburetor to primer (primer draws fuel from the tank through the carb)
Primer to fuel tank (returns any excess fuel to tank when pushed) HTH

Replaced primer bulb and fuel lines, now it won't stay running

The smaller line is the supply to the carb. and should have the filter in the tank, with sufficient length to allow fuel pickup from the bottom of the tank. The larger line returns excess fuel and pressure to the top of the tank.By squeezing the bulb and watching the fuel lines you will be able to determine if you have them right on the carb.
