How do I clear kodak esp 2170 error 3528

I have cleaned and checked everything that I can access on the printer and tried all fixes that I can find online. is there a "service mode" that will allow me to bypass the start up testing to use the scan function of the printer?

Call Kodak @1800 421 6699 and get a new printhead free of cost.....Printhead has gone bad and it is the part in which we install the ink cartridges. It takes the ink out of the cartridges and spit the ink on the papers,...Cheers and Enjoy.

SOURCE: I just bought A Kodak

Try a new USB cable. Scanners require bidirectional communication with the computer and thus can fail when printer itself works. (If you use a print server or USB hub, try a direct connection.) Also try changing USB ports.

Another thing to try is to remove the TWAIN driver and reinstall it. This requires the original software CD from Kodak.
1. From your computer desktop, click Start > Run. (In Windows 7, type run in the search box then click on Run.)
2. Type %windir%, then click OK.
3. Double-click twain_32.
4. Right-click Kodak, then select Delete.
5. Insert the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software CD into the appropriate drive, then go to D: > printer > scanner.
NOTE: The CD is indicated by D: above. The CD drive may be a different letter on your computer.
6. Double-click aioscannr.msi, then follow the instructions to remove it.
7. Go to D: > printer > scanner, then double-click aioscannr.msi, and follow the instructions to install the file.
8. Open Home Center Software:
a. Select Scan Documents and Pictures.
b. Scan a document.

Unfortunately, if the error persists, the scanner may need service. Contact Kodak: http://www.kodak.com/go/contact .

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Kodak ESP 3250. Error 3527. I put new ink

Contact Kodak. I think it's the batch of printers that were made around this time. I just contacted them (mine is the same age and I'm getting the same error), and they are sending me a new printer.

ESP office 2170 will print from computer, but will not copy from glass or auto feed

Try unplugging.the power cord for a couple of minutes then plug it back in you after doing that you may need to reconnect it to the internet. This will clear out junk from the printer. Then try printing. This works most of the time

Kodak ESP Office 2170 Paper Jam code 3524

Actually, to fix it, you need to disassemble the printer.
The smallest part inside the printer can trigger this error code. The printer needs to be taken apart, clean, check the paper feeder that it's not crooked or missing a piece.
I recommend that you take it to a profesional, because if you do it yourself, you need to have a bottle of crazy glue, in case something breaks, that's how we fix it.

Our ESP 2170 printer has stopped printing yellow. I have tried everything - replaced the printhead, replaced the ink cartridges, run the cleaning option several times, calibrated the printer, run several...

If you get a working print head, run a test print every 3 days or so. I do this on a regular basis to keep the ink from drying out and have yet to have a clogged head using this method. Before replacing the head a couple of months ago, I did not do this and after a week and a half, the head clogged beyond the capacity of the printer to self-clean.

Hope that helps,

Kodak 3.2 ESP has an error clear all paper code 3528 but there is nothing there

Turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the top access panel. Inside on the left you will see three round, white gears. Rotate the gear closest to the front back and forth with your finger. If any scraps of paper appear near the rollers, remove them. Close the top access panel. Plug in and start the printer. This worked for a Kodak ESP 3.2.

Printer keeps displaying error 3528 there is no paper in it and has never been any please help

Hello, Welcome to FixYa!
Error 3528 in Kodak Printer is mostly because of paper jam. their may be small bit paper jam in side. There are some "micro-sensors" that detect a paper jam. To solve it
Try taking off the roller access panel in the back and make sure that the printer has not picked up a sheet of paper somewhere in the path. Also make sure that sure that really there is no piece of paper paper, dust or foreign objects. If you have seen and you are sure that there is no any paper or foreign object then Turn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air. Turn the printer On and check. If you still face this error then try a trick may be it can resolve the issue.
Press the On,Off button on the printer and turn off your printer. Now wait for 30 seconds.Press On button to turn your printer On and try printing.
If still there is an error then then probably your Kodak ESP 3 Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner is in need of servicing by a service professional.
I hope this solution helps you.

Sounds like there is a sheet of paper jammed in it. Try taking off the roller access panel in the back (not the access panel by the cartridges). Make sure to only use clean sheets with proper humidity level to avoid jams. Also fan the sheets before feeding to disperse any static.
