Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My kicker sub seems to rattle alot inside the box is it blown?

Most subs when they "blow" usually seperate from the spider, which gives you a rattling noise. if you have a port in the box, it could be possible that the inside tube has come out. the easiest way to tell is to pull the sub out of the box and see if anything is loose inside there. if there isnt anything then smell the sub where the spider is. if it smells like burnt plastic/metal then yes it is blown.
I hope this has helped you and please dont forget to rate my solution for you.
cheers

Need every thing for a 8" kicker but the magnet and basket

Kicker don't sell parts as they want you to buy new drivers but you can find replacement spiders and coils at speakerex.com and maybe post to your local craigslist for a blown sub of the same type to get everything else.

Good luck

Only one voice coil is working on my L7 10" sub? All connections look good. 2 2ohm subs wired to 2ohms with a Kicker zx1000.1 mono amp. why?

If the tinsil wires all look good then chances are you broke a lead in the coil, the only way I know of to fix this is to order new voice coils and a new spider and replace them..

There are places on the web to order parts, you just need to take good measurments of the parts and relay them to the stores.

Hi there I have a problem with my kickers. Subwoofer l7 15" is blow,I was wondering if there is a repair kit avaible for it or not?

The only Kicker woofer that has a replacement cone/assembly is the SoloX woofers. All of those have what Kicker calls it's SPARE which is a field replacement assembly. They're designed for SPL competitions.

Solo baric l7 WOOFER... CAN I REPLACE THE VOICE COILS?

well you can bring it into the place you bought it.. or a place where they sell kicker brand subs.. and ask them for a fix..
they'll either order you another one or.. they'll send it to be fixed.. depends on what it is(note) kicker L7 is made to be taken apart and fixed

Voice coils

Hello. I do speaker reconing and amp rebuilds for a living and the L7's often suffer from tinsel leed wire breakage which can cause "poping" and "screaching" noises in the sub in various cone positions. You need to remove the sub and push straight down on the cone repeatly and determine if you can feel or hear crunching noises to make sure the voice coil and/or spider are not damaged. A faulty leed wire can usually be identified by a dark spot or obvious breakage. All of the L5 and L7 models can be successfully repaired as long as they are the older models that have a center cap in the cone. The newer capless models will have to have an upper brace cap glued to all of the cone's fingers and will have a rather ugly appearance. Leed wire overhauls usually run around $30.00 for the older models. Voice coil and spider overhauls run around $90.00.
