I need to reattach the spring to my walking foot on my 1475 cd pfaff sewing machine if you have pics that would be very helpful, thanks

Its the spring, which I have that attaches to the walking foot. Once its attached it goes to the walking foot on the piece the slips under the walking foot to keep it above the fabric. If you have pics or a diagram that would be very helpful. Thanks K graham

SOURCE: I have a singer 6202 sewing machine and I need to

You have to unscrew the presser foot, then attach the WF, using the same screw.

Make sure the lever on the WF rests on top of the needle bar clamp.

Some WF have a two prong lever and this fits around the needle clamp like a lobster claw.

SOURCE: How do I remove the face plates on a Pfaff

The plate is not screwed in, it is held tight by a couple of metal springs on each side. Just take a small regular screw driver and gently pry up the face plate. You may have the presser foot lowered by the switch on the right side of the bobbin/shuttle area slide it so the presser feet raise.

SOURCE: Thread bunching up on bottom of fabric

Try making sure that the thread is all the way in the tension disk then test it out. I had a similar experience with an old machine.

There are a number of sites that offer the Instruction Manual for a fee. See the following:

I was able to find a free download of the Instruction Manual for the 1473 if that would be of any assistance:

Not sure if these will have enough information to help with repair but perhaps the 1473 manual will give you an idea whether the information you require is likely to be in the Instruction Manual before you purchase.

How can I adjust the foot tension on my Pfaff 1475? When I release the foot it doesn't go al the way down. and when I push it all the way down, it doesn't stay down.

Pfaff sewing machines are difficult to repair in most cases but you can try if you like. The arm that goes up and down when you push on the foot is adjusted to a spring that rises and falls. It is adjustable by a screw that holds the spring and the arm together. By loosening the screw the arm is movable up or down as necessary.

Haven't used my Pfaff 1475 in almost 3 years. Now the presser foot takes abou 10 minutes to lower. is there someplace I can oil post that lowers the foot.

I would like to help you the best I could, but I think talking to a sewing machine technician at a sewing machine repair shop might be your best bet. It would probably be best to get your machine serviced since you haven't used it in three years.

Not sure if your model is the creative 1475. The closest I can find at a service website of Pfaff is 1473. Check if this is similar to your model and it shows where the balance wheel goes.
