Question about HP Photosmart C6180 All-In-One InkJet Printer

2 Answers

Same problem, hp c6150 turns on and shuts down in infinite loop.

Printer turns on then says improper shutdown. Please press ok. Pressing ok does nothing. Printer then turns off and starts the loop over again. Pulling the plug does not fix it. Holding down the on button or Ok button does nothing as well. I need help soon please.

In visiting with HP Support Personnel, this issue is most likely caused by a faulty power source. I have the same issue with our C6150 and they recommended that I look at replacing power cable. I am currently trying to find a new power cable.

You have to refit the micropump gear, this is happening because this gear should be out of its place. It's on the left side of your printer. I.ve just solved the same problem.
