Remove the bottom panel or panels and manually turn the fan blade. This usually frees the motor from lockout.

E1 F5 code after self clean cycle. its been 12 hours and wont unlock and still says code

Hi.

E1 and F5 (F5-E1) means that the Self clean latch will not lock. The problem is usually fixed replacing the door latch. If the door latch is working, check wiring to door latch. The control module causing the error is not very common but possible. If the latch and wiring are OK, check control board.

Here troubleshooting from manual:

1. If door latched:

1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Check wires and connectors from control to door switch, then from door switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.
3. Replace door switch.
4. Re-apply power.
5. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.

2. If door not latched:

1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Check wires and connectors from control to latch switch, then from latch switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.
3. Repeat steps A and B for door switch.

3. Measure door switch (door open = switch open small low voltage terminals). Replace switch if defective.
4. Measure latch switch (unlatch = switch open, CAUTION - oven light contacts are closed). Replace switch if defective.
5. If corrections are made in any step, reconnect power to control. Press and hold any key for 1 minute to clear R failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.
6. If failure remains, disconnect power and replace control.

No power or lights at all. Fuse is OK, Tested circuit board and power supply on it works. Open TCO??

You can check the TCO- thermal control contact sensor.by using a meter for checking the continuity. If open then replace if not then you can check on the relay trigger, check on the circuit trigger to the relay that must switch the lights, fan and microwave.
See if the door latch switch is contacting because only when the door is latched the switch contacts to give supply to the microwave circuit.
Hope you test on these tips.

The start button is not turning on

Assuming the circuit breaker is on and power is getting to the unit, check the door latch to be sure it is engaged fully. It could be a faulty door lock switch.

No power not coming on. circuit braker is not kicked.

Start with the simple things and work your way from there. You will be amazed how many people call a plumber who flips a breaker or simply clears a stuck float valve (for $80 minimal fee).
If no lights are coming on.
Check if your float valve is jammed.
The valve is a safety feature to stop the machine from over filling. If anything gets under the valve it will jam open and stop the machine. Look inside the machine on the floor will be a small float valve. Looks like a small upside down cup. Lift it and clear anything from underneath.
Not the float valve ?
Check the door interlock latch.
Much like a washing machine a dishwasher will only operate with the door closed (or when it thinks it is closed!). There is a metal tab that engages a switch in the door. This is the same switch that activates as you operate the handle to open the door. If it is misaligned it will not signal the machine that the door is closed and the machine will not operate.
You can check this by overriding the locking tab. Put a screwdriver in the door latch and press the switch. You should see the lights come on and power flow to the machine.
Note: if the machine is in run mode you will get water spraying.
To fix this problem bend the tab to properly engage the switch. Or if necessary loosen the screws retaining the switch and move it to correctly align with the tab.
Not it?
OK now you are into electronics.
First is quite simple. Some units have an internal fuse to protect the control panel. Check that first. Take your time and take care. Turn the breaker off.
The control panel is screwed in place. Remove the screws and gently remove the control panel. Take care not to have parts of the door latch fall out or springs drop out etc. On newer units it is very simple as it is just a circuit board. Look for the fuse and check that it is OK. Replace if necessary with correctly rated thermal fuse.

Boiled over then ceramic touch buttons all beeped. I believe default E-11. No manual what do I do and wht did a boil over leak is this not a sealed unit.

HI. This E-11 Code is an indication of a failed Door latch mechanism. I would advise to inspect the latch assembly for loose wire connections at the latch, and main control board. If the wires are attached correctly, and the contacts are ok, simply replace the Door latch assembly. Once the door latch is replaced, the code will shutdown, and the unit will operate properly.

NOTE_ It would be wise to try a hard reset, before purchasing the replacement door latch. Kindly, unplug, or shutdown the appropriate circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Once the 5 minutes have passed, simply re-introduce power to the unit, and observe the actions. If the error code illuminates again, replace the door latch assembly.

The washer doesn't start

Hi, check the following trouble spots below. you will find the issue in one or, all the areas stated.

1. No power to the washer
Make sure there's power getting to the washer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the washer, if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

2. Lid switch/door latch
The washing machine may not function if the lid switch or door latch mechanism is defective. The switch is usually located near the door. Replace if found defective.

**If you are getting power to the washer and, step 1 and 2 check out ok, replace the timer control or control Board and start switch as well.(You can test the continuity or, resistance level of the Lid/door switch with a multimeter(ohm).

Maytag dishwasher mdb7601 will not run-

if power to the dishwasher is OK, then the door latch may be the problem. You need to unplug the unit, remove the inside cover to the door and check the door latch switches (may be a pair) with an ohm meter for continuity. Each switch is a make/break connection. If that is OK, the problem could be a power connector to the control circuit board that could be loose.

Whirl pool dryer LEC9000PW0 will not turn on

Has a household fuse blown or has a circuit breaker tripped?
There may be 2 household fuses or circuit breakers for the dryer. Make sure both fuses are intact and tight, or that both circuit breakers have not tripped. Replace the fuse(s) or reset the circuit breaker(s). If the problem continues, call an electrician.
Is the correct power supply available? (Electric dryers only)
Electric dryers require 240-volt power supply. Check with a qualified electrician.
Is the dryer door firmly closed?
Your dryer door may not be fully closed. It may look shut, but may not be latched. Push on the door to engage the latch or latches. Some models have an upper and lower latch. Both latches must be secure for the dryer to run.
Was the Start, Push to Start or Hold to Start button firmly pressed?
Large loads may require the Start, Push to Start, or Hold to Start button to be pressed and held for two to five seconds.
Is the Cycle Control knob set on a Sensor Dry or Timed Dry cycle? (on some models)
The Cycle Control knob must be set in a Automatic Dry or AccudryTM or Timed Dry cycle. The dryer will not start if set on the Wrinkle ShieldTM option.
Is Controls Locked status light on? (on some models)
Press and hold the Cycle Signal button for three seconds. This will turn off the Controls Locked feature.
Did you recently install a power supply cord on the dryer? (Electric dryers only)
The power supply cord may be incorrectly installed. If the power cord is incorrectly installed, the dryer may not start or heat. Review the Installation Instructions to check that the power supply cord is properly installed.

I get an error code on my Whirlpool RF362BXKW range. I have shut down the power to the unit, have cleaned the unit and the error code won't go away. None of the oven cooking options work with the error....

What I did was hit cancel and hit the unlock button. Then I leaned against the door a bit as I hit the lock and hit the self clean and start the lock check dissapeared. I hit lock again and nothing else and it started the cleaning process.
